I'll be loading mine on a flatbed and towing back to the place that gave me this. 🙄
Last night I almost finished my suspension overhaul, got the driver side front left to button up.
I've never done anything suspension related on anything, ever, and I'm surprised how easy it is. Literally 4 bolts on each corner. Out with the old, in with the new. Any monkey could do this.
What I'm putting in is:
Bilstein B16 coilovers
SPL rear camber arms
SPL rear traction arms
SPL front upper control arms
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars
Whiteline sway bar end links
..and a Bell Raceworks diff brace.
And maybe Z1 rear subframe collars if I got time.

I did the exact same thing last month and agree. Especially the back. Took me longer to adjust the camber and toe than it did for the install.

Correct, it wont fit without modification as it's designed for a DE. I think I have pictures of my phone somewhere, I'll try an get them for you if I don't forget.
I just measured out what needed to be cut and went wild with a dremel. You have to cut out a piece around the hood prop and also where the hood latch mechanism sticks through, the hole isn't big enough for the HR mechanism.
Cut smaller than you need and then grind out the last bit. And wear a suitable mask, carbon fiber is not somthing you want to breathe in.
I "sealed" the cut edges with a black marker, looks like it was factory molded.

Finished installing my Bilstein/Hotchkis/Whiteline/SPL suspension. Preliminary height set and letting the springs settle now before final tweaks. Might raise the front and lower the rear to level it out. Or just lower the rear. I'll see what happens til next weekend.
Went for a test run yesterday with the shocks set to 6/10 and man those Billies are firm. I set the rears to 3/10 today and left the fronts at 6 and whoah, blew me away with the difference. At this setup they are still firm but more comfortable than oem at the same time.
Gonna try some more settings soon but I'm impressed by the ride quality so far. I have some slight rubbing going on in the front when going over bumps at speed so I might fiddle with the inner fender clips that are rubbing or raise the front a bit, we'll see.

@Painterguy39 sorry for the late reply. Here's what the finished cuts need to look like in order to clear the latch and hood prop holder thingy.
@BQPham I dont remember for sure if I trimmed them out or not. I remember them fitting sorta, like if you squint your eyes and only look at maybe 2 of em at a time they kinda fit.
DE bumpers might fit differently. Just trim away!

Today I gave it a wash, and took it for a ride over to Burlington coat factory. Picked up a dog toy and came on back...
Just ordered a new amp, and subwoofer so planning on changing that up this year I guess, also got some new rear speakers. It already sounds pretty good in their but I just get bored I guess.
Still gotta get my summer wheels on one of these days, for those who are not up to speed on my current set up...

I added new urethane sway bar bushings and new end links yesterday. I've got z1 subframe collars and urethane dif bushings lined up so I'm looking forward to tightening up the back end.

Got my temp tags today and made 3 short trips working on bleeding the air out of the cooling system. Only thing i don't like about the vq but well worth it
