I found these Recaros earlier and *DO NOT* know if they're genuine. (I tend to think they're reps, but I haven't researched the model either).

I never seen them. If I had to guess, from a euro older car, BMW? The seller made no mention where it came from and made the description short and brief as he was withholding some Information regarding the seats. I think it's safe to assume they are not real, do as you please though.

But furthermore, this man needs some seats, buy my seats! The cats are getting too cozy on them.

Nice 70 degree day, did an oil change with my usual blend; 4 qts. Mobil 1 full synthetic, 1 qt. Polydyn TX7. Been using this secret formula since the car was broken in. Also lately I've been using these WIX filters designed for full synthetic oils; can't go wrong with WIX (American made). Had to hit the streets for a nice windows down romp. It was obvious to me that the new oil must have given me at least 50 whp! *The car now has 62,841 miles on it.

They ride very nice. Not to loud on the highway. They handle great in the turns. so nimble.

They were a suggestion from a buddy.

Thanks,

Took a little time today to tinker with vinyl wrapping. I accidently messed up the finish around the shifter a while back and got tired of looking at it. I want to eventually do carbon fiber, but covers add thickness and are noticable and legitimate CF pieces are EXPENSIVE and I have yet to find one. I want to eventually do CF hydrodipping, but figured this would work until I can get money set aside. Not the best job, but I'm still learning and honestly the vinyl was inexpensive and the thick 6D stuff so that didnt help.

$1100 for both seats. I chose an upgraded leather that is more sorted to convertible, yellow accent stitching and the thread for that is Marine thread that won't fade.

Changed the wheel bearings in the rear. They must have been bad since I bought the car because I always thought there was ton of road noise.

Turns out its actually not too bad because the inside of the car is muchhhhh more quiet now.

Well worth the time and money if you're thinking about it!

Valve cover gaskets, oil pressure sensor, oil change and filter, oil cooler gasket. Basically just fixing a ton of small oil leaks. Still need to do the oil pan, but the SOB wouldn't come off easily and I was out of time on the weekend.
