Well Boys!
I'm happy to say my car is finally back on the road! My daughter had a mishap with a pothole that ruined 2 of my beloved Volks. 2 different shops confirmed they couldn’t be fixed. I finally found a set of wheels that I like while they’re nothing fancy I rather enjoy the look and fit.

That looks really fun to drive around. Voodoo endlinks too? Overall, without the sway bar being a part, is there any other suspension piece you would recommend tackling after? I have a feeling you'll say camber arm. What gave you most bang for your dollars?

I need to update with some pictures. Since last season I've done some minor upgrades to set the car ready for this track season.
Have a track 370z friend who has set aside for me his 2 piece rotors and his 3.7 final drive for me! I'm pumped for the 3.7 final drive!
of course a post without pics won't get a lot of reads but I'll get some eventually....
- SPL front upper control arms (-3.3 camber) to help with understeer
- 200TW tires finally with Federal RS-RR (275/35 square on 18x10.5 +15 rpf01s). Been trying to scrub them in by doing some non-track driving on the roads and after 200 miles I still feel slipping under lateral G's, not sure if this is VDC related or tire mold release related
- Buddy club seat rails for Corbeau FX1pro to set my seating right
- OMP Targa wheel, NRG quick release (still running 3 point OEM belt, i'm sketched on running a harness K-bar but we'll see)
- AC belt delete (need to remove the compressor and condenser still, can you remove compressor without dropping the rad/rad fans?)
- Replaced all fluids again (drive under 5k miles a year and still replacing fluids at the end of track season always feels good!)
- Lifetime warranty on blank rotors (consumables right?) with carbotech xp10 F, xp8 R, man...do these squeal or what. Street driving you would think i'm metal on metal.
- Did the idler pulley delete yesterday (FOR THOSE WHO HAVE AFTERMARKET RADIATOR SPECIFICALLY MISHIMOTO, YOU WILL NEED TO DROP THE RAD FANS!, it was sort of a pain since the aftermarket rad is a bit thicker you won't have enough room to slide of 1 of the 3 bolts to do idler pulley delete.

First drive in about 6 months. Just bought a new home with some property and took her out on some back roads just outside of Paso Robles. Forgot how well she handles...also found out that cows DO NOT like the sound of my Z driving past their pastures. Herd ‘em doggie!!!

Think I'm going to go back to OEM 06+ headlights and maybe 06+ OEM front bumper (w/ clear JDM reflectors) on my Z, and side-spliter delete. Could use some money during these COVID times haha.

wish you were closer, i'd grab the V3 style from you. Also how are your federals holding up? still scrubbing my RSRR's in and notice some slippage.

I like them both, maybe for the money, I stick with RS-RR, but if you got a lady or daily, get RS-PRO. I'm at the point where I might have to search elsewhere for tires as I want to go wider, 275/35 or 285/30 is what Federals has to offer. Looking at R888R to do 275/35 & 305/35.

Done for the Z today?
Uhhhhh, started it to charge the battery a bit. SIP sucks.
But we did take one of the 'verts up the hill this week.
Breathing fresh air in the sun..... needed that between all this indoor boredom.

Nice Mic! My wife and I have had a standing date every day at 5 45 during the work week. We take one of our four cars(tonight it's the Z!) and just drive on several different routes for 20-25 mins....all have some highway miles to make sure engines get up to operating temps. While I love and feel blessed to be home with my wife and son during this crazy time it really helps to just get out of the house for a little and feel somewhat normal. The only other time I go out is for groceries at Costco or Raleys and that is such an unenjoyable and slightly anxiety inducing task for the most part that I don't even enjoy the drive when I do it. I plan on washing, clay barring, waxing and sealing 3 of the cars starting this weekend...no excuse not to. ha ha I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and sane.

My wife, the school principal has been working MORE hours (from home) these past few weeks getting her school's (and her district's) virtual learning program up, running, and tuned. Wow.... 14 hour (average) days. But if she doesn't lead, she's a terrible follower especially when there are few that have her passion.
Me, well..... have some work but most projects are in "postpone mode". So I'm cleaning out my garage. Hahahaha. I'm down to only three sets of Z wheels!!!
In any event, stay safe y'all. Flatten the curve!
