Hi guys,
I changed my oil last night, and I was expecting to have to drop the "skid plate" that so many people referenced here......I was able to change my oil and filter without taking out any of the screws that hold the skid plate on.........I have an '04 and there is a cut out in the skid plate that allows me to access the oil pan and filter......anyone else have this cut out? Is it new for 04 or do you guys have it on 03's but decided to take off the plate anyway..........

 

i have the cut out on the 03, also able to do oil change w/o taking off the plastic piece.
