Default Another Z wreck

No it isn't totaled just a little scrape.

Stopped at starbucks on the way to work. backed out of my parking spot. Put it in first and started to roll forward. Felt an odd bump. I was thinking "OK clutch is out, wasn't that. Tranny decide to go nuts?

Then I noticed the back end of a Bonneville in my rear view...young kid and his main worry was he already has a couple of points on his record and doesn't want any more points or an insurance claim.

Caught me right below the left rear tail light. Scrapped through the paint in 4 places and buckled the bumper. No damage to the quarter panel. Everything still looks straight at the hatch.

Parking lot, private property, his insurance is already saying well it was a dual backing accident even though I told them I was moving forward and he was telling me I'm sorry, didn't see you etc. at the scene.

Front got a little ding a while back so maybe it is time to look for a body kit

That doesn't sound like a "wreck", sounds like a minor scrape.

Private lot? Good luck with that. Most police won't issue tickets, and most times insurance won't pay out unless ticketed. It will go through subrogation. Translation? If you make a claim, you will pay your deductible and you may not see money back for a year or more.

Not as bad as I had expected it to be judged on your title. I hope everything works out in your favor.

Yep! That was it. The tranny had completely lost it. Started throwing things at my car then charged it and started hitting it with she/he's purse.

I managed to escape with my life but the car is wrecked. Here is a picture of the tranny and what it did to my car:
