As for my roommate paying for it, she told me last night that she is going to use my rent money to pay for it. I got a student loan just for "housing" and I pay for the whole semester at once ($2250), so it will cover it; and if I want, I can pay for it myself and just give her the change.
Thanks again everyone for the help!
get a receipt showing your rent paid...............!
i didnt read if this was solved yet, but i hope so..if u dont file a report within like 24 hours or something like that she could just not pay u and ur screwed and will have to fix yourself...good luck looks like she got u pretty good
I think she is just gonna pay out of pocket. If I claimed it I'm as a h&r, wouldn't my insurance possibly go up?
Paying out of pocket would be better, for everyone involved.... 2100 dollars isn't great, but it's definitely pretty flippin good. Make sure you sign something that says that's what you're going to pay, don't let them rape you for BS charges in the end; if you don't know the people at the shop they'll **** tease you and then start calling you telling you it's taking longer than expected blah blah... Not that you're really paying for it, but still; I've never had door work on my Z but my front side got owned by a semi tire-blowout on the freeway, It felt like someone throw a box full of bricks at my car and damn near sent me into a spin....thankfully it was summer and there was friction on the road haha.
