Default Exhaust smoke

Are any of you guys constantly cleaning the tips of your exhaust?
Or the back bumper?

I wack the gas a fair amount, but no more than anyone else here.

Just curious if im not the only one having to wipe down the rear bumper and exhaust tips b/c of it turning black. The tips its pretty dark black. On the bumper it just looks dirty, but when i wipe it off, it is definately black on the cloth.

Its part of my daily routine of cleaning off the brake dust. Start with the wheels, then the exhaust tips and then the back bumper.

Wanna make sure there is nothing to worry about from the engine.

Thanks

Yeah, its cause of the high flow design. Example: my 1st car was a honda civic (i know... i know). Stock exhaust, no black marks. Straight piped, no cats, black marks.

The more flow, the more stuff is gonna come out. Just wash it every time you wash the car, should be ok...

You don't wash your car enough.
Standard practice with Z owners is EVERYDAY.

What you are doing (waiting until your bumper gets dirty from exhaust!!!) is "Z negligence", a crime punishable up to disqualification of Z ownership!

if the exhuast is making the back of the car black, just find something just a little bit smaller than the exhuast pipes (wadded up t-shirt, potato, bottle...) and plug up the exhuast and viola! no more irratating black marks!

hmmmm but some how I think this might introduce more problems....

i only changed from the cat back with nismo exaust...

my tips get DIRTY after about 500 miles... cuz I drive my car very hard...

he harder you drive it the more exaust gasses your pushing out... and the richer your a/f the more unburnt fuel getting into your exaust...
