Problem with my car!!
I took delivery of my Daytona Blue Performance model on Thursday at Kings Nissan here in Cincinnati Ohio and I have found a few things that trouble me. The car is absolutely beautiful and it drives like an upscale sportscar. We have all heard about the "cheapness" of the nav door, but I think the flip-out cupholder on the passenger side is also very cheap and will most likely break at some point ion time. Also, the center console has a spring loaded button that opens it. The materials are just fine...I just dont like the placement of the thing. I dont know about others, but when I am getting out of my car I push down on the center console for support when trying to step out. Anyhow, I was getting out of my car the first day I had it and without thinking or knowing pushed down on the center console and heard a pop. Now when I press the button to open the thing, it doesnt want to open. As for the nav door....the materials are fine, what makes it seem "cheap" is how the nav door opens and closes. The door seems to be on a single hinge right down the middle...therefor, there is little sopport. Tell me what you guys think.

Not to be blunt but all those things are small quibbles Nissan put the money in the right spots on this car ie ENGINE,BRAKES,LOOKS!I would say those are all minor things.

Is that all there is to complain about. I'll just be happy to be getting mine. Like it was mentioned before, Nissan put the money in the right places. It's not a 50k car ya know!!!

I think the nav door opens in a very nice slow fashion. Closing is fine as long as you follow those directions to pull till it stops, then push down. I have no complaints over the center console.

It was great dealing with Kings Nissan. They probably treated me with extra care considering not only did I buy from them, but my dad ordered a Pikes Peak White Performance model as well. They wanted over MSRP? When I called them back in Jan. they offered sticker right away. Anyhow, the experience with Kings was a pleasant one.
