3. I'm pretty sure the bumper has to be replaced, there's literally a hole in it (look in the first pic). I only mentioned a kit because I figured it might be cheaper than a new OEM bumper.

4. prnstr40, you really have no idea about any of the details of the situation. I could go into detail to explain, but I'd rather not waste my time.
i just looked again the first picture, i see no hole.... i guess allstate is better in GA then in FL, i was in an accident last year on my sisters benz a commercial truck rear ended me, the car value vas 15k, damage value was 13k at a certified M-B body shop, it took them almost a month to fix the car, pay for a rental for the whole time. everything adds up close to those 15k still didn't totaled the car....

wow, seriously? A buddy of mine just had his Z totaled on $7k or so of damage incurred from hitting a deer at speed. I have no clue what insurance co he had, though. That sucks big time.

Update: She admitted liability. I'm not paying for anything. Bumper replacement is looking doubtful though. Now I gotta find a shop I trust to do the re-surfacing.

Good luck & make sure the insurance rents you a decent ride while your Z is being repaired.
