You know your a car guy, when someone posts a picture of your car from the glory days and you literally feel your heart speed up a bit...
Very nice of you to find the picture and post it...Very glad you like the car, because its basically is me in car form...Everything I think is good about making a car fast, the only penny I spent that didn't make it faster was the wing.

^^^ hours after the car was crashed. 3 to be exact....she was there. You telling me if you crashed your car, and hours later had an ex-girlfriend on your doorstep DTF, you wouldn't draw a "one door closes, another one opens conclusion"
I think its worth mentioning. I need something to feel good about. Plus when you see the picture. You will be glad I shared.

That sucks.
I spun a camaro out on the highway a few years ago. It was one of those things where I was like "I better be careful, or I'll spin out!" and 2 seconds later I was sideways. To this day, I hate driving in rain and am super careful. You sound like you have a good head, so you'll bounce back... and naturally be more careful next time

So, After all the time, blood, sweat, tears...track days, autocross, high speed runs, 6 sets of tires, 7 sets of brakes, and my second motor at 31,000....She finally misbehaved, I really shouldn't blame her tho...I f***ed up...I was driving fast. Decided to slow down to the speed limit, decided a few minutes later that it would benefit me to change my CD, since I was now going much slower.
All of a sudden, The *** bag in front of me decided at the last minute he would turn into his driveway, putting the signal on as he was turning...I thought he was stopped to fork to the right, and tried to pass on the left....I was wrong, as soon as I was to the left, his blinker came on. He swiped and spun me, and luckily I scrubbed all the speed off backward, before going off under 10mph. Please don't comment on my age, I have been racing vehicles my whole life, I know where, and where not to do it. This was a sad day, I already am at fault because of following distance laws. Worse than that I feel at fault, it was a stupid error, and as fast as I am on a track, I still have only seen a few years of traffic driving. So, while I guess you could chalk this up to my age and experience, I don't need to hear it.

It is just the obvious fact that my parents, friends, family were concerned and I have allready talked about it. It is one of those lessons where even though I wasn't speeding, and it was just a combination of careless error, and unforeseen events i learned something. It really just put me off to my late night escapades, or practicing with A6's (the tire) in parking lots with my own cones. Its still in the public and stupid. Now I need to pay for his piece of **** car anyway too. SO I really was hoping to leave my flame suit at home. I learned. I Really don't need to hear it. It's not ignorance, its common sense. And most of the comments so far were pretty much what I was expecting, minus the complements on the car. It is also making me feel better. My subi friends all have a unspoken sti brotherhood, I have no Z friends so I come here to find people with the same sickness I have. I tried to get help, the doctor prescribed 89 Octane but I didn't like the side effects.

To clarify what a horrible two months this has been. This is who just left......I also threw in a picture or two of the Z in her prime, and M3 which still holds dear to me, and I think you might enjoy, and a little treat at the end. Not mine, but I built it with my dad from the ground up.
It sleeps a lot, but when awake....Terrifying to drive is the only word. 2100 pounds 410 WHP 460WTQ mustang dyno I believe, I told him to break my heart with the correction factor. When it was first done, we drove the car for a year and a half, and it would rape my poor little Z. The car was only using 70% of the throttle opening, and was horribly rich. It put down 203WHP no clue for tq.
This should provoke some interesting and witty banter.

I am really more of a Beatles fan myself. Other than that the radio is rarely on. Maybe some random mixes here and there, and Classical...I listen to it before racing...The car already has a stereo, so why not, while your waiting in line
