Z Day + 1- The Zaino Chronicles w/pics
The haze is something called out-gassing, its from the vinyl leaching out fumes, the same stuff that contributes to the new car smell. Using silicon based protectants does seem to encourage this, I dont know why. I will say that you should be very happy with the 303 protectant. Its great stuff. Also, dont use amonia based glass cleaners. Not only do they smell terrible, but getting amonia on the leather and vinyl is not good for it.
Many thanks Brad for the information. Interestingly enough303 was exactly what I was considering buying!
By the way, someone say something nice about my wife's toenails, she's getting a complex!!

hey brad
what would you recommend to clean the alloy wheels (tourning with 17' alloy wheels), get rid of dirt, break dust, etc. easy to apply, rinses off, little scrubbing.
i search the site, coudl not find anythign subtaintial, seems to call for a non abrasive cleaner. what would you recommend?

I think they would even be more awesome with Zs painted on each nail.
Try cleaning the wheels first with car wash solution and an old rim rag. If that doesn't quite cut it, I recomend a wheel and tire cleaner, my favorite is "Eiman-Fabrik Hi-Intensity Cleaner" Read "Detailing Session 2: Wheels and Tires" for more info.
ZBarrister,
My wife wants to know the color code for the nail polish. She loves the idea of matching the car.
I hope you still have time to bring the car by sometime this week. Dying to see it, especially after the Zaino treatment

Pooh,
Color code for the polish? I'm a guy you think i would know that...hahaha! I think I heard the name Boyznberry but not sure.
Not sure if I can do it this week, work is actually interfering with devoting time to the car!
But let me check a few things out and get back to you on that.
