Sorry ninja...but that's BS!

This is my SEVENTH Z, and the only one EVER to have the kinds of problems everyone talks about. I've personally only been subjected to the streaking prob, and it's not a contiual thing either, but to expect anything but perfection in a new car is just plain stupid! Hell, that's one reason we BUY NEW cars, no???

I think you people are simply succumbing to the "new" corporate style that says...we can make "good enough" products and sell em....why should we be perfect.... That is bull$hit! COMPLAIN LONG AND HARD folks. Don't take this sitting on yer a$$es!

Like the guy who ordered a muffler and it arrived defective..and the company has the GALL to tell him to mail it back to them prepaid? Holy CHEET! F THEM!! I would have cancelled my credit card payment to them, and told them it's sitting on my curb if they want to send someone to pick it up! Sue me?? Dun me??
F THEM!!

Actually, I think it's a little broader than that. Japanese cars in general are just better made cars. All 350Z's are made in Japan (at least the 03 models were). Maxima's are a perfect example since some are made in Japan & some are made in the US (my 91 was US made. see above). When comparing one against the other the japanese made Maxi's far exceed the US manufactured ones in quality & thus have fewer problems. Always a good idea to check the Japanese car your buying & confirming that it was in fact manufactured in Japan. If it wasn't then I'd look for one that was.
One thing all Maximas prior to 2004 were made in Oppama, Japan like the 350Z, their reg. starts with J not 1. 1981-2003's Maxima made in Oppama Japan 04's in TN an dyes the 04's are having more issues than the 03's and of course we know the quality of materials isnt as good. The 89-94 Max and 90-96 300ZX used a very good quality materials inside.

Well, here we go again. The dealer told me that some 91 Maxima's (mine included ) were US made. Once again proving that most dealers are idiots. Since I don't own the car anymore I can't check the VIN but I deffinately choose to believe you over my dealership.....Morons.
