Owner's Manaul did not indicate how fast you can actually drive during your break-in period
Well, what speed is 4000 RPM in 6th?

Are there "official" break-in procedures? Are they specified in the owner's manual? How many miles, what max RPM, etc.?

Just under 110 MPH with a slight headwind. Not that I would ever exceed the speed limit, officer...

I too have the Touring with VDC but no TCS button, I didn't check my Monronie label to ensure that it's suppoed to have it.

Have you been accidentally turning the heated seats on with you elbow? It's 95 degrees outside and I keep warming my buns.

One switch operates both the TCS and the VDC

Wind direction has no influence on speed AT A GIVEN RPM. Any speed variance attribuatable to wind will also cause rpms to fluctuate.

I don't understand why everyone keeps saying that it has been so hard to keep under 4000 RPMs. On my Stealth, I go 25 MPH at 4000 RPM's in 1st, then 45 in 2nd, 85 in 3rd, about 110-120 in 4th and I won't mention 5th.

Obviously it has to do with the gearing and the fact that the Z has 6 gears as apposed to 5. But is it really that hard to keep under 4000 RPM's?

Unless those that say this are referring to doing 0-60 or quarter mile runs.
