I ran a base dyno when I added the mishimoto intake, ebay test pipes and turboxs exhaust - 249rwhp

with these mods:

Motordyne 5/16 isothermal spacer
Mishimoto c/f intake
Megan Racing Long Tube Headers
Invidia N1 Catback
Exedy stage-1
F1 Racing 18lb flywheel
Megan Racing Y-Pipe

base was 264, untuned

so I gained a mere 5hp or so with the tune.

I will say that after the tune the car runs AWESOME.

I am very surprised at the difference in overall drive-ability of the car post tune. I was told it had rich/leans spots but the stock map adapted pretty nicely (hence the little increase in numbers). But when I opened her up on the expressway I could instantly feel a change, its definitely not the same car.

I just wana add that the car is loud as hell, I thought about putting the silencers on it and I might for a day or two just to see how it sounds but for the most part I doubt I will. If anything I may switch up the cat-back in the future to go with something a little bit more exotic but right now I am pretty happy with the total numbers of the car. Its pretty much the end of the line on bolt on mods you can do for a DE.

Thanks for posting but after looking at your dyno sheet it's hard to understand how the car could feel that much different.

Did you tune existing Osiris map or have Osiris (tuner?) newly added? What specifically did you have done and how much $$$.

I have Osiris standard and have been thinking of making my way out to RT to have it optimized but am unsure if it will be worth the expense and time.

Appreciate any and all feedback.

I paid $525 for the tune - it came with a "full tune" and 5 selectable maps.

The idle was raised slightly - but I can feel the difference from not having a tune to having it tuned. I could tell pre-tune that the car had lean/rich spots that needed to be fixed - the car did not have the same easy power band as shown in the picture.

Its difficult to say otherwise though, I mean driving the car before and then after the difference in the tune is very obvious, power delivery was almost instant after the tune.

Nice before numbers! Hard to improve much on that... probably some of the highest un-tuned numbers on a DE I've seen.

yea that's what I've been told.

from my research I've seen that once a DE gets to about the 255/260ish area its very difficult to get anything else out of it, even after a tune without internal mods (cams/injectors) or f/i. I am pretty content with the numbers and would definitely recommend the tune to anyone.

Thanks Novesh - I wasn't questioning what you felt just that I didn't see anything in the graph to understand the rich/lean condition that you were referencing. Did they supply A/F data?
After I added the Berk HFC's and MD XYZ to my other mods and then got my Osiris standard I also felt a much better throttle response and smoother power delivery but not the kick in the pants I was hoping for.
I guess I'm looking to justify to myself that a dyno tune is the only right way to get whatever's being left on the table, and that data logging runs and emailing UpRev for an update is only a shot in the dark, though better than nothing.

Much of the 'difference' felt, given the relatively small gains, is probably the Uprev tuned ETC (throttle) map. On an NA car it makes a pretty big diff in tip in and overall engine response.

In my case with the TT's it makes it more difficult to stay out of boost LOL. I keep it on the stock ETC map for now

I bet I could have gotten the data if i asked for it but I felt no need to ask for it.

Thumbs up

I like the simplicity of long headers. No need to mess with sissy catalytic converters or test pipes.

RECOMMENDATION: After 1,000 miles return to the shop and tighten the headers.

Full tune? So they tuned every accessible load point at steady state on a load bearing dyno? Not just WOT sweeps?

Yea, Novesh base numbers were really good and his initial air fuels were 13.5 tapering to 12.5. Which is really good on a stock map for the mods he had. So overall numbers were hard to improve upon, but the with the tuned throttle mapping and raising the rev limiter and a few other things the car felt great!!!

How do I load the uprev tuned ETC map? The way the guide shows seems to be outdated because I dont see that at all.
