If your happy and you can swing what your doing, that great and I'm happy for you. But realize, the Z is just a car. Its not exotic and its not really that special. So I say take great care of it and drive/enjoy it as much as you can.
I hate to use the one word reply, but, ^^ 'This' ^^. Well said. You enjoy driving it.. so just drive it once in a while instead of your neon. The more rock chips you get, the less you'll worry about it.

Plus I'd rather commute in a rimmed up luxury truck with a killers system anyway.

Rimmed up!!

Agreed. I don't get the whole babying the Z. 89k on my 04, got it in 2006 with 20k. Take care of it and park far, but I daily drive it. Still smells like new. Got me through 2 years of work, and 2 years of grad school, now back to work (soon, hopefully).

Thinking of getting a s2000, but it will be driven daily like the Z.

Maybe to the OP, you can compromise and drive the Z once a week? Why not? Live a alittle.

well said with the take care/park far. as far as the s2k...i owned one and miss it severely. it was three times more fun to drive than the Z (in the mountains at least, not really impressed with straight line one way or the other) based on the razor like handling, beside that though, the Z is much better for day to day...

Drive mine just about every day. The OP should do the same. The Z isn't a weekend warrior, it is made to be driven.
