08 base cruise control
HEY when i bought my car the dealer said it was an enthusiast package but it cant be because it has no steering wheel buttons like radio or cruise control but it does have leather seats.
i was wondering since i always used cruise control on my other cars is there any way to wire up cruise control on my z now?! thanks

I've seen one thread by somebody who bought a aftermarket kit from a UK based manufacturer. He had to find somebody local with the know-how to install it. He never followed up with details or pics of the install, how it worked, or any other info on it.

Here's the company that makes/sells them CLICKY

I have seen it done. I spoke to a 350Z owner and it was added aftermarket. The controls were on the left side of the steering column. I pointed that out to her that, since the controls were not on the steering wheel it was added later. She insisted that her car came from the factory with cruise control and only the "fancy Z's" had the controls on the steering wheel.
Nontheless, she reported it worked fine.

It's probably that very same unit that I linked to. That's the only one I've ever seen that claims to work on a 350Z. Not the most elegant install from the pictures, kinda' cheesy, but at least you get CC out of the deal.
If the OP would use the Search button, he would see it either cannot, or has not been done. Wondering when you figured out the dealer didn't know his 350's? and/or when you didn't?
i would return the car asap and claim breach of contact as they delivered you a base and you were promised enth. base trim is pretty much a joke for broke *** clowns or straight up racers with big plans...
That is a pretty harsh assessment of owners of Base models. I have had my Base for 7 years and have never had any regrets about the purchase. I also do not consider myself a "broke *** clown". I simply wanted a simple sports car without the computer controlling so many aspects of the driving. Is seems the Base is really the modern interpretation of the original 240Z.

Maybe its his own fault for not doing enough research before hand to figure out that he was being intentionally or unintentional lied to.
