Default New engine for free!!!! =d

Hi everyone!! So i just got the great news that am getting a new engine on my 05 350z due to oil consumption!! Is there anything i can do to the new engine before they install it to make it stronger/faster??? Am not a very technical guy so i don't know much...i don't know if the engine comes ready to install or if its complete apart...pppllleeeaaasseee give me some ideas other then turbo/supercharger kits....thanks allloott everyone...

They're not going to mail it to you for a self-install. The dealer is going to install it after nissan ships it to them. Use some common sense man!

They're not going to let you touch that engine.

Forgot to mention i work for a nissan dealership and service tech that is going to do it is my personal buddy =d....thats why am askin...please help me out guys

You work for Nissan and you know the tech yet you don't know what to do to the motor?

He gave me a couple ideas but he doesn't own or ever modded a 350z much and here 3/4 of the people know more about mods then someone that just fixes cars...

Then why take on aftermarket mods that you have no idea what effect they will have, especially on a new engine.

So this dealer will allow him to do aftermarket mods (non-Nissan parts) as part of warranty service?

Then why would you trust him to modify yours?


Please just read the important threads (recommended reading here... CLICK HERE), do your research and make some decisions on where YOU want to go with the car. Don't ask stranger who have no vested interest in your car.

I LOL'd at you wanting to install aftermarket parts (but having no idea which parts) while getting a motor replaced under WARRANTY.

1. Be happy your getting a new FREE motor.

2. That is all.
