Crazy to buy a 350Z?

I am also from Wisconsin, about 20 miles north of Milwaukee and spend a lot of time driving north to see my Dad in Minnesota.
Bottom line is I suspect the Z is probably OK with decent snow tires, but I would never drive this car in Wisconsin in snow. The reason is the amount of salt the state uses.
Unfortunately I just sold a 1987 Rusty Toyota which runs perfect. Sold it for $500.00 and it would have been a perfect snow car for you.
As an earlier post said, buy a beater.
