Oh my goodness! That thing was brand spanking new too! Poor poor Z owner.

Hmm... maybe they can now get their money back from the insurance company and get a car without feathering problems. Maybe they are lucky after all?

you get excessive road noise from the tires. not much happens cept the noise. I dont have the problem personally; so cant say much more.

Ah, it's just nice to see it label as an WreckedExotic
Puts the Z right up there with the Wrecked lambo's.

I have seen more wrecked Lemans Sunsets than any other. I think I'm gonna be sick. It's just so sad.

well, i am able to rent a z at the local 'exotic car rental' place.

what's more interesting, though, is that whatever plowed into that z's driver-side door didn't really make it into the cabin, and the z driver probably walked away from the accident. good news for those of us that are going to get plowed into in the future.
in fact, i've yet to see a picture of a wrecked z where it looks like the driver and passenger would have been seriously mangled.

I'm going to visit the states some time in May 04 - what does it cost to rent a Z? (much better than driving a ho-hum rental)

it's an "exotic rental", you wouldn't want it for a daily driver (it's mileage limited). if i remember correctly, it was 2 days and 50 miles for 100$. in southern california, 50 miles won't get you anywhere. you'd only rent it if you were going somewhere and wanted a nice car to arrive in, or if you were thinking of buying one and wanted an extended test drive.
i remember the weekend i was looking for one, there were none available, because there was some big award show going on that weekend (emmys?).

Oh well guess it will be a Toyota or something similar - who wants to entertain an Aussie for a few days? We are going to spend 6 days in Cal - and about 6 days on east coast....May 04

You know I would spend unlimited funds on any Z owner to visit Oz!!
