found my wife in 1972 ...she was driving a sky blue 1959 356B... now we have a 2003 chrome silver Z......

 

Hah!...found my wife in 1973...she was under her (AMC) Gremlin changing the oil... now we have a 2003 chrome silver Track Fairlady Z.

 

Steely Dan 1972 "reelin' in the years"... seems like yesterday .... I spent time today under my 21 year old son's GOLF helping him change the oil......

 

Glad to see the older generation representing. I'm an old 24 here. My dad is 56 though and owns a '72 triumph gt6, '76 mb (42k original miles) and a '91 1le supercharged formula firebird (1 of 46). He started the Z trend in my family back in the early 80s. He currently doesnt own one though. He's owned around 7 Z's throughout the years though. I lend him the keys whenever I get the chance
