Forged Performance: A Reintroduction
Hmm. hey let the Co re establish themselves. So mistakes were made here and there. That goes for any biz these days with crazy customer's taking things overboard.
You win some and you loose some.
Welcome back!

My theory is that if i am personally taken care of by the companies that i choose to use then i could care less what happens to the other guy.
that is my take on things.
so say 7 out of 10 people were happy with them. That is a pretty good % considering how many people complained about them.
But then again i am only going from what i see on this forum. Who knows what happened or is happening for a diff car forum.
Possibly they were dropping off and loosing biz, so they decided to re-intro themselves. But you know at least they are taking a step forward.
Perhaps this time around 9 out of 10 people will be happy. You never get that 10/10 and if you do it is rare.

Most people can research for themselves and see FP's history. And as for the G37 case it's refreshing to see that they have "insurance" to handle "situations"! I'm not sure the same can be said about other "companies or shops" A close friend has been burned in the NY area (RX7 world) and the owner just closed shop and moved.
After reading the story of DPJONES, it doesn't just seem like a mistake was made, it sounds like MANY mistakes were made and attempts to cover up the fact that the wrong parts were ordered and placed on the vehicle, sloppy work was done and the car was damaged while in their possession. The customers concerns were never addressed in a timely manner, if at all and the whole process took way too long.
I would personally not do business with them, because if they treat a customer who spends $25k+ with them this way, how would they treat me (I will most likely not be spending that much)?

This is their thread. I would like to hear responses. From a business standpoint I fall in that 70% range. However, when I came time to choose a shop I went with injected. However I must also note that my car is now at wright motorsports formally 350Evo due to scheduling conflicts with injected.

In regards to the criticism, Forged has a long history of providing outstanding customer service for small orders as well as larger purchases/builds. They also clearly made mistakes and upset several customers during a period of rapid growth for them. How they handled those mistakes also came under scrutiny and rightfully so.
I'm hoping they've gone back to basics with a focus on integrity and attention to detail. I know if I lived closer, I probably would've already purchased a GTR - no way would I pay dealer prices for maintenance and modifications on that thing. The community needs outstanding shops!!! Welcome back Forged - hoping to see some outstanding builds and more posting on the forums again...

The fact that he tried to sue the OP for his silence and the cover. I wouldn't do business with them. I did spend about $4000 in Volks wheels with them. But I don't think I will do business with them again in the future.
My question is...How do you put in wrong turbos and not know?
I also believe that one can sue someone for defamation of ones name and or business. I highly doubt that suing the guy was needed in that type of situation. But hey who can say at that point? Everyone is diff.
Reasons why i do my own work. I only have myself to Blame. But i can always yell at a parts guy! lol.........

Is it funny how Forged has not commented on anything? If you order wrong parts thats fine, everyone makes a mistake, but to put a wrong park on a car......I mean cmon now...... thats like putting 240sx exhaust on a 350z......you just cant do that.................
I agree with Dr. Venture. This company seems reputable enough to take the steps needed to get themselves back up to par. This is not a post that was written hastily, nor did it come right after all their mishaps with customers.
They probably anticipated getting crap from people unrelated to some of their more serious car concerns. That's why they haven't posted again and just let the bandwagon leave. That's shows discipline and a commitment to letting their work speak for itself.
Lesser companies would have caved in. I give Forged credit and wish them well. They've definitely pushed the envelope with the vq platform and we can all appreciate that.
