Default Right Hand Drive??

I kinda have been wondering this and thought it would be cool.

Picking up a 350Z in Japan and having it shipped back to the US.
Getting it legal would not be too hard since the car already exists in the US with the exception of being Right hand Drive..

The only problem is they are Pre-Ordered there until March I believe.

Whould anyone here have a similar intrest? If So I can look into it more. We(StrictlyZ) do have contacts with several dealers in Japan.

The one biggie is it would cost more than what they cost here (Import fees and what not) But the one thing is it would be one of the rare and few Right hand drive 350Z's in the US.

My family's business (Japan Parts in South San Francisco) does it all the time. We sell used engines from Japan, and have only recently begun shipping entire cars from Japan. Used cars there are super cheap. We have imported 2 Skylines, 2 Sylvias, and a bunch of Type R's. It's super easy to do. The only thing is registration. Which is a big thing. Still it's fun to drive on the other side.

Default I agree!

Brandon,

I agree RHD cars are fun to drive sometimes overhere. The mainy thing is the shock factor.

Imagine all the people that are staring at the Z now in the US. They would turn their head twice if there was no one in the Left hand side...

And who could forget all the fun at the drive thrus, and entering highways.

Brandon can you transport some Skylines for me?! How much or how long does registration usually cost?

I think the Skyline is the hardest to register and make legal here. We sold the one we got for $23,000, it was a white 96 and it only had 12,000 miles! You don't want to know how much we paid for it. The guy that bought it said that it would eventually cost him like $35k to make it legal. So you do the math. I don't work at the family business though, so details may be off, I'm just relaying what my uncle told me. I actually work for SONY testing their PS2 games. I can hook you up with $25 PS2 games!

PS2 games 25$?! That sounds awesome man! Rai you reading this?! Brandon I sortav wish I was still into PS2 or games in general like I once used too. But lately I've been out of games

I think the Z's are easier to bring over because they have crash test results for the Z's thats why there are a lot of older Z models that are RHD right?

That price ain't too bad you should see how much MOTOREX charges
