spotless..you are only 22..it should be spotless...heh heh
The insurance company will still bend you over Reno style...you won't get a realy break until you are 25, and even then it's not as good a break as people used to get.
If I was you I would try to find a similar car..price and performance, although there really is none...and try to get a quote based on that information. Who know the inurance companies may already have the details to give you a quote. Make sure you have the KY standing by.
Incidentally, I feel your pain...when I got my current car, the insurance cost almost made me choke, I had to call 911, cuz I had been raped.

My rate will flat out bite...
22... Record of atleast 2 tickets a year...
And arrest for racing my 98 Monte Carlo on the TX hill Country. The police report said speed of Mach 1. (No actual speed) That was not a pretty day.
Some of the stuff in the car should lower your rate, pending what you are driving right now?
I shouldn't see much of a difference! Although I am worried about theft and the Nissan Imobilizer. What Is it? Is it an alarm, or like lojack. My current viper alarm is ok.

What kind of break wil I get if I'm not using the Z as a daily driver? I'm still going to use my 90 maxima as a work car, since it's still running good, and I wouldn't get much if I tried to sell it. I pay practically pennies to insure the maxima. I'm 23 with no points at the moment btw.

I am 23 and I was quoted 180 /month (with renters) through State Farm. This is $60 more than I pay now for my 96 Mustang GT. I have low deductibles and normal damage limits.
Oh yeah, clean record.

I work at Allstate and I put my info into the computer for the 2003 Nissan 350Z and I anticipate paying about $110 to about $135 per month on insurance. If you are in the state of Texas I can help you out with the insurance on your Z. Lets just say i can give you some "friendly" discounts.
I checked with my insurance carrier Progressive. They had information on all the models. She asked me which one I had. I told her the Performance model. She then said my rate would be less than my 1998 3000GT. She quoted me a rate of $502 for a six month period. I have no tickets or accidents in the last 30 years.
22 here, i'm paying $420 bi-yearly for the GS400. I'm hopingmy agent(good family friend
) can work with me.
RXramon...what were you doing racing a '98 monte? Can you even win a race with that thing?

I did a little bit of pre-checking too, and it doesn't look like its gonna be too bad. In fact, it looks like its gonna be cheaper than my BMW.
So I'm looking forward to having a little extra filthy-lucre to spend on Redline oil, Zaino polish, stereo upgrades, speeding tickets, radar detectors, tires (figure I'll go through a set about every 90 days), and all of life's other little unescapable necessities.

I checked into this as well and it seems if you have 2 cars - & classify the 350z as "recreational/seasonal use" - or something like that - not as your primary/daily use car - the insurance isn't too bad at all. I also ran the numbers with a Honda S2000 maybe 6 months back.
With this in mind, in January I sold my 98 Integra GS-R and bought a 2003 Corolla to drive as my primary/practical car - and will classify the 350z as this secondary vehicle. The numbers with insuring these 2 new cars this way were about the same as just my 98 Integra. Go figure!??

I called my insurance company today, just the the hell of it, and got a quote of $140 a month. I'm a 27 year old Male, and currently have a one little ticket on my license, and a minor fender bender about 2 1/2 years ago (not sure if that's still on my record or not). My comprehensive deductable was $250, and collision was $500. If I bump up my comp deductable to $500, and collision to $1000, the puts me at $118. In all honesty, I was quite surprised that it was that low.
