That makes perfect sense to borrow if the interest rate on the loan is lower than the interest rate on the deposit account where the money is held. And I agree that your parents should keep the loan. Owing your parents is a completely different mentality than owing the bank.

okay well since you guys wont believe me regardless ill tell you the truth.
its under my PARENTS name ... obv I can't get a loan for a new car at 18. I pay $200 a month, they pay the other $155.22 a month. I don't pay for gas, insurance or really anything. Call me spoiled, whatever.

ACTUALLY I work at cinemark theater. Im not going too sit here and argue with some person I could care less about, about my car that I already have. You're wasting your time, I already said my parents pay for some what of the car and I pay for the other part.
