im not about to read this whole thread lol but its not the age of someone owning a car, iits about the responsibility that individual has...age 18 or 87. Ive owned three cars in the past year, . i went from a mk4 jetta to a k24 swapped rsx to my Z that i will not be selling anytime soon, payed for all of them, do my own work on ALL of them and now own the car i love, an 03 enthusiast 350z. Im 18, and have respect from many of the car groups around here. its not age, but responsibility...and knowing how to hold your own.

I can only come from my own experience. My dad told me when I was 12, if I wanted a car, I better earn the money myself. By the time I was 16, I had already bought and sold 3 cars. I bought a brand new car while still a senior in high school. 390hp and out of control in a second if you weren't paying attention. 30 years and about 50 cars later, still not an accident on my record. Should a 17 or 18 year old own a Z? ONLY if they buy it themselves with their own money. If it's given to them, where's the owner's responsibility come in? Flame away

****, I'm 16 and I just got an 03 Z, I'm making the payments on it though and I'm paying for gas and insurance. I work for mine and I drive pretty damn fast too. The key is responsibility.

Your pic isn't working, not that I couldn't find one to post myself, but please put one up that we can see and save me the hassle.
In before gidiup ask her what her favorite farm animal is.
Unless you are on the track, then driving fast and being responsible don't mix. I'm not about to say I never drive fast, but I'm sure not dumb enough to try to pass it off as being responsible. Thanks for the laugh.
This is the part where you tell us how gr8 of a driver you are at 16

So you really do all the work on your cars yourself and have paid for all of it? Was the swap done when you got the RSX or did you do it yourself? I find it a little difficult to buy that you did a swap yourself or even paid someone else to do it without daddy's help.

Is the loan in your name? I doubt it. Anyway, I hope you're not boasting like you are doing something. Ronald McDonald signs paychecks for 03's these days. How much is your allowance, BTW?

Sure, I work as a vet tech and I own horses which means I buy them, train them, and sell them for 10k+. And yes, no help at all.I buy my horses, I train them, I pay for them, and then I sell them, my hobbies both support each other financially

I still want a pic that I can see.
I didn't need a loan, I bought my car from a small dealer so I dropped 7 g's on it and I'm supposed to have the rest payed off in a year and a couple of months but if I keep on working the way that I am then, I could probably pay it off byt the end of summer. It's possible to make money when you're young, it's just hard to not get tempted to spend it on clothes, videogames, and other unnecessary crap.

So you sold a horse to pay for your Z? Where do these horses stay at, just curious? You didn't answer my question about whether or not you did the swap yourself after making the claim that you do all the work yourself.

LOL, not only can you not spell "paid", but you don't seem to understand what loan means. Enlighten us on how a 16 year old comes up with 7k.

ps we all cry for you...not really. no disrespect towards an elder but dont act like a jealous old buffoon because of others fortunes, we all learn our lessons the easy way, or the hard way.
