Like i stated before, Mommy and Daddy pay for everything so he can save up $8500.

He wont understand until he actually has bills like the rest of them, they think we are "hating" when all we are trying to do is give them a dose of reality and let them know they didnt do anything by buying a ten year old sports car.

I work a waitering job I've held for over year working 4-5 days a week every week. And for 2 months I also made pizza working double shifts (12 hours) Friday and saterday (waitering then making pizza at night). My first car was loaned to me for a year by my parents but I had to keep it clean and pay insurance and gas of course (04 accord LX) I never got in accidents or scratched it. Pulled over once for a lience plate infraction. I think I earned my car and if you disagree you're just mad a 17 year old can afford what you older gentlemen can

First post fail because its a load of horse shiit.

I once saved the Jabawakiz at Narnia while riding a biracial unicorn camel that shot lucky charms out of it's horn and had diarrhea cinnamon toast crunch do do butter with every enemy I slayed. With my mighty light saber that gandolf gave me and my level 12 Blastoise I beat the invaders of the north and now Narnia is peaceful once again. It was a very bloody battle and the horrors of that war still haunt me till this day with the amount of rum that was spilled that day.
I find your story to be more believable.

Wow, you negotiated $1100 all by yourself? What a big boy you are. What a hard sell that must have been for a 2003 Z with likely 110K+ miles that books around 8500-9000.

You should start a car dealership you're so good at negotiating.

And by the way, looking at a car by yourself when you're clueless about the car mechanically doesn't make you cool, doesn't make you a "TRUE KAR ENTHUSIAST", doesn't make you a grown up, it makes you financially irresponsible and stupid. I usually take a friend with me to look at any car I look at because a second set of eyes that also knows what they're looking at is ALWAYS beneficial. I've looked cars from top to bottom and picked them apart to have an accomplice find something that I did not. That, and having a pal along with you always helps, whether you're male or female, because psychologically with most people you are gaining the high ground with negotiation when two people point out the same issue and make a mountain out of however small of a mole hill it may be.

You've got a lot to learn, buddy.

Anaheim Hills, eh?

Nothing says "born with a silver spoon" more than being from..........

from wikipedia: Anaheim Hills has a median household income of $123,260

But no offense. We're all sure you bought the R6 AND the 2008 Z all by yourself............(or did your mom offer to buy you the Z if you would get rid of the bike........)

Many of us "older gentlemen" could write a check ( that would even clear!) for $8500 at the drop of a hat. Are you seriously comparing buying an 11 year old used car to when I bought my '03 brand new off the lot 10 years ago? Time for a reality check son. Nice first post, I am all breathless waiting for Post 2.

THIS ^

I have many friends in Anaheim Hills and they are rich kids.

My version of your story:

Daddy and Mommy gave me first car because i was such a good little boy.

I bought a 3500 sports bike for cheap because im a boss, parents got scared because i had a near death experience with California drivers because I was doing dumb shiit on the freeway.

Parents made me sell bike, took money and they helped me buy my new car that i saved up for for lifeeee.

My Z is my first car and Im 18?
But my process was ALOT different than that other kids haha.
I saved for 2 years (getting money from doing videos, screen printing and doing graphic design for people) I had $9.5K saved but limited myself to only spend 9K. found a deal for 9.5 and had a hard bargain and got it to 9.3K My dad lent me the extra 300 as long as I paid him back in a month....In which I did.

6 days later....I crashed it hah. Luckily my dad is a claim adjuster and has many connections in the car industry. So it only costed me a few hundred in which also I had to borrow from a friend but paid back.

I just finished Highschool and now going to a junior college.
I work as the operations manager at a screen printing company and actually just got a job at Americas tires today also ))
During summer I worked 100 - 120 hours a month and going to school tuesday and thursdays and working the rest except for sunday.

My car is all me. the only thing my parents have paid for is 2 qts of oil and 2 air freshners.

Its easy to tell when ******** stories like the guy above haha and its obvious when young kids are getting aftermarket parts when working some mickey mouse job.

I feel I have damn well earned what I have. and there are SOME exceptions to kids getting Z's. which I feel I am one

Post a pic of your mom if you have any dude. It's not the first time I heard about Anaheim Hills having quality milfs. On a scale of 1-10 what would you rate your mom?

Let me stop you right there, broski.

It doesn't matter what you're going to say because you can get a used old Z in exchange for a dirt-covered turd nowadays.

You're too late to the party.

lmao. I sure wish 300ZX twin turbos were as abundant as 350's are nowadays. You literally have to be lucky to find one and some are priced higher than 350's depending on how good of a condition they are in.
