i started off with..
POS....1992 saturn...
1995 eclipse gst
2002 lancer oz
2003 350z...
my advice for younger people getting nice cars is hold off...i have had some decent cars in my lifetime but i kinda regret getting them...i wish i would just bought a cheap 4door car with a good warranty and paid it off quick and held off on getting a nice car until my older 20s to younger 30s....right now after i sell my 350z i think im just gonna buy a cheap daily driver and invest my money into a duplex or triplex or some type of property...just a heads up for you kids...if you buy a duplex and live in half of it and rent out the other half you will have your own place and not be paying full price for it...also with real estate it always goes up in value rather than cars where they decrease very fast...how nice would it be to buy real estate at age 21...rent out the units for lets say 600 each...make a lil bit of money now the in 10 years when its paid off your making about 1000 for each unti of pure income and your sitting on a unti worth more than 150k that you could sell and pocket the money? be in your younger 30s and basically set....reason why i stress this is because i wish someone would of opened my mind for me a couple years ago..

You guys have had some nice ones.. how bout these bad boys?
1978 Pointiac Fiero - sold for a bag of weed and 50$
1990's Toyota MR2 - the old boxy style; spent more time wrecked than working
1986 Ford Escort - the radiator fluid poured out the front of it one day before rugby practice when I was in high school and tried to drive it home... bad idea.
(old) Mazda 626 - bought it off a bartender at a restaurant I worked at...sold it for about as much as the fiero.
Chevy Blazer - piece of $hit... can't remember what happened to it.
1991 Ford Ranger - sold it to a mexican guy I worked with so he could go see his family in mexico.. bought another car with the money
1996 Ford Probe GT - I think it was a 96' ... fun to drive traded it in after missing the ranger.
1997 Ford Ranger - realized I didn't miss the ranger as much as I thought... traded it in after about 3 months for a Jeep.
1997 Jeep Wrangler - This has been my favorite car thus far - paid it off and traded it in for my new car.
2005 350z base
Still miss the jeep...but love the Z.
So I can safely say I have earned it.. You guys all have the B'mers and the Audi's... I've been stuck with some real pieces of $hit. Justification for a higher education.

89 Nissan pickup trunk- after graduated highschool I started modding it...hydraulics changed to airshocks, 1989 honda civic bucket seats, magna flow exhaust, multiple head units, custom made sub box with four 15" woofers, american racing rims (deep dish of course) nitto tires, custom paint job from earl sheib (sp?), chrome fender accents...it was pretty cool in the early 90's and being a teenager.
98 Explorer sport, premier package (fully loaded, so I was reluctant to modify it), K&N CAI, CSI exhaust (Custom), two 12" fosgate punch speakers, fosgate punch amp, (wifes car now).
2005 Z base model so I can modify it without feeling guilty, 1 month old and already have Nismo exhaust, JWT pop, Clarion h/u with sirius satellite, Razo racing pedals and shift ****, mirror tint all around, clear corners, next up....custom sub enclosure for two 12's, Racing heart wheels or Volk...........

1: 1977 VW Scirocco (Hand me down from dad, finally traded 'er in with no brakes at about 230K miles, all original engine/clutch/tranny)
2: 1980 VW Scirocco (The tranny literally fell off the engine on this car)
3: 1988 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II
4: 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T
5: 1990 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II
6: 1995 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
7: 1997 Ford Thunderbird V-6
8: 1999 Mitsu Montero Sport (R.I.P.)
9: 1997 Ford Probe SE (still got it...my beater car)
10: 2004 Nissan 350Z Track (My other son)
11: 2001 Lincoln Navigator (loaded) (My wife's car and family truckster)
Except for my first car (which was a Ferrari in my eyes at 16), I've payed for every penny of every car I've ever had. The first RX-7, I bought after I got into the Military.
I drove my Scirocco at 17 like it was a Ferrari too. It's a miracle I'm still around. I think it's nuts that parents buy Z's for their kids. It's like giving a 5 year old a loaded handgun. You can tell them to be careful with it all day long, but eventually, they will be playing cops and robbers with it and shoot their friend. The only difference is that the Z is a 3000 lb bullet that can take down entire families.
Bad Mojo.
sorry....off the soapbox I go.

Four cars in 8 years for me and I've paid for every one of them. I'm used to having a car payment, unfortunately.
1990 Pontiac Sunbird-car payment-$150
1999 Dodge Dakota SLT (318)-$300
2003 Sentra SE-R Spec V-$316 (lease)
2003 350Z Performance-$570, ouch-I guess my next car will have to be a viper to keep going up in car payment, haha.
