all these people buying these cars under mommy and daddys roof are not going to know how to handle life once they have to move out. thats if their parents have the ***** to kick them out like my mom did when i was 17.5

I started driving at 15, legal age in Kansas under a restriction to work and school only. I was driving my step dad's '91 Dodge Ram. Now I am 22. BTW, all paid for with my money in case anyone asks.
At 16-1986 Pontiac Firebird-automatic, pretty weak car but got me around good and had 50k mi on the odometer.

At 17-1989 Ford Mustang LX Hatchback 5.0-5 spd, loved this car because at the time all I ever wanted was a fox body. Sold

At 19-1992 Ford Mustang LX convertible 5.0-also a 5 spd, miss this car very much. Just sounded mean! Sold

At 21-2003 350z enthusiast-6 spd, current car and love it so far. Still paying for it though :/

The generation war to me is based on categorical perceptions which are too broad. Yeah perhaps it's not most advisable for kids out there to drive high powered sports cars. (Maybe there should be an age limit[?]) But not all of them are bad.

Regarding the argument that people wont know how to manage themselves after they move out of mommy and daddy's roof- again that is a debatable argument and is perhaps narrow-minded thinking.

When I was 16 I had a $20K car. By today’s standards and inflation that would be close to the price range of a Z. Granted my car was no where near as powerful as a Z but it was still peppy for its day and yet I drove with some sense.

When I moved out of my parents house, I managed just fine. So to those younger kids who have nice cars and a good head on their shoulders- more power to them!
Everyone deserves a shot to prove themselves without being hated on or prejudged.
