Get over yourselves, we arent driving Porsches.

350Z's are cheap. Very cheap. They arent expensive high class cars unless you buy them brand new. Anyone who can get approved for a loan can afford a 350z. My car payment right now is less then $300. I wouldve been able to afford that at age 15 working part time at a gas station. So whats all the fuss about? Minimum wage isnt 3 dollars anymore.

What do you mean "Divorce Present"? Your parents got a divorce and bought you a car?

Meaning i got divorced and bought myself a brand new car with every option that came available with it. Actually had to trade it in 2 years later for the Z because a Z was so much cheaper.

You can get a 2003 Z for less then 8 grand. Puts the payments at about $150 stretched out. If you ask me thats about perfect for a 17-18 year olds first car.

I'm thinking the driving skill isn't perfect.

Definitely not. You don't give a 300hp RWD car to an inexperienced, immature driver.

Maybe you should rethink your parenting skills if you dont trust your 17 year old (1 year away from being on their own) to drive a certain car. I knew how to drive at 16 and my uncle let me take out his S2000 all the time when i got my permit. You dont have to have special skills to drive a fast car, you just need to be responsible, which comes with good parenting. Because guess what, even 150hp cars still have the ability to drive fast.

If you have issues with young kids driving a 350z either:
A. You suck as a parent
B. Your parents sucked at being parents which is why you dont trust 17 year olds because your parents didnt trust you.
C. Your fat and spend way to much time on internet forums.

So you molested a cow for a little while and then took her money. Congrats.

Obviously you have not been on here enough to see all the carnage caused bt kids having these cheap cars. My personal favorite has to be the one where this guy came on here proudly proclaiming that he allows his 17 years old brother drive his Z and then a few months later post a thread about how said brother totalled his Z. He even admitted that this thread was right all along.

Besides, most kids buy a cheap V8 Mustang GT as their first cars nowadays and you have more of a problem with them driving a V6?
Your right because no kid has ever acted one way in front of their parent and a different way when they are not around. I stand corrected.

So every kids first car should be a Prius? Every old mustang GT i see on the road has some punk teenager driving it. But V6 is off limits?

Ok well clearly, you're single and probably always will be. Thanks for being a total d*ck about something that has nothing to do with this thread. She took my money FYI.

And kids are always going to wreck cars. Guess what? Adults wreck cars to. I'm currently a volunteer firefighter in my town and the most calls we get are auto accidents. 1 in 10 of those are kids. 9 out of 10 are adults.

You're on a 350z forum. Of course your going to see posts about 350z's being wrecked you tool. Doesnt mean kids arent off wrecking their friends/parents/siblings honda civics.

That's hilarious. So let me get this straight, she took your money and then you went out and bought a car that you couldn't afford and you were forced to get a cheap Z.

So if we consider adults to be everone 18 and up that would make up the vast majority of all drivers so, of couse, you will see more. Now look at the percentage of kid drivers involved in wrecks vs the percentage of adult driver and my point will be clear.

You are absolutely correct, they are out wrecking 4 cylinder Civics. You keep referencing V8 Mustangs, but affordable for a kid Mustang GT's had less hp than a Z.

your kids will love you then for buying them a sports car. cause last i checked Z parts are a lot more expensive than civic parts. (Civic=Perfect 1st car) and if thats a kids first car guaranteed wrapped around a pole. fyi only z i have found for 8 grand was at a junk yard wrecked. lol

I mean like 90s-early 2000's. Not classics. Im on the east coast, who knows maybe everythings different here. 10% interest on a loan? You must have horrible credit. I got a 2.99% loan for 5 years. And thats the highest % loan i've ever had on an auto loan. Then again, this is the first used car i've ever bought from a dealership.

Na i got great credit this was just my first car that i financed with no co-signer. I was paying 20% interest for the first 6 months then refinanced down to 10% interest. Ill refi again later to get it down to 3.99%. Cali is full of stingie people who dont like to give out auto loans
