help me ..removing glue on Z emblem

Default help me ..removing glue on Z emblem

stupid of me again...

washing and waxing..now the rear of my emblem, the "z" cheap *** aliminum, broke off...

so how do i get rid of the glue residue thats left on the paint..

i did research, no luck yall

You could use goo gone or 3m exterior body solvent.....either will remove any wax or polish you may have on the car though.

1. nail didnt work..i dont have any nails
2. goo gone ..didnt work either..

3..whats next? a blow torch?

If you can find it try the 3m exterior body solvent....when I used to detail for a dealership we would use it to remove road stripe paint (when people would drive over freshly painted lines and kick the paint up the sides of thier cars).

there are a whole bunch of threads concerning this topic... but if that goo gone stuff didnt work, then try heating it up with a blow dryer and rubbing it off. or you can use the meguirers scratch remover or the gs-27 scratch remover.

i tried heating and it didn't work for me so then i used cold water and my finger (not my nail) and kinda pushed the glue along till it balled up. I wiped the residue off with a bug and tar remover.

I did the heat it up with blow dryer and then rub with fingers and palm of hand until it balled up and then whipe with towel. After a few cycles and sore hands it all came off.
