Actually got a ticket not in the Z !
I'm sad to say that after going six months in my Z with not one ticket ( thanks to my Escort 8500 ) I ended up getting a ticket in my 92 ford explorer ! I just bought the explorer for the winter and didn't think I would need to transfer my radar right away ( I still drive the Z when it's not raining or snowing ) but I guess I should of. The smokey said I was going 92 kph in a 60 but that's bull$hit because it was up hill and I don't drive the explorer very hard at all. At the most I was going 70 but I didn't feel like arguing in case he was going to give me a warning. What really pisses me off is that I got caught speeding in a 92 suv instead of my Z. At least I could of been having fun when I got the $175 ticket !! Oh well guess I learned an expensive lesson......never drive without protection !

Are Radar Detectors allowed in BC? They're not allowed in Ontario so if you get caught you lose it. Generally they don't fine you, they just take away the unit but that's a pretty hefty fine unto itself.

I live in Kelowna, BC. I was driving back from my girlfriends parents house in Summerland. You would not believe the stretch of highway that was posted 60kph and to enforce it at 9pm is even harder to believe. I was told that there is only one cop in summerland and " he " stopped me! :-( Next time I'll be ready with my Escort 8500 watching my back.
