Telling people? Everyone here knows what I have. I have test pipes, with stock exhaust & intake. I never said bone stock. I'm in the bolt on section on 350z.com. #1 12.771@108mph. Also did 12.7 & 12.800 last Sun. My worst run in the last two times I went was 12.927.

I have ET streets now I just have to get used to them. The best time out of 4 runs with them was 13.5 I didn't heat them up enough so I was spinning.
If I go it will be saturday. How much to run there?

I might can make it to Atco depending on the turn-out for Cecil (if any). I have a 5at G35 coupe. Best ET 13.23 with a 1.8 on street tires Best Mph 106.

Weekend might be more-maybe $30. Raceway park is bettter, but its $40. I do better at raceway park.

The Ford Mustang is a drag car - live rear axle, room for a V8, wide rear.
The 350z is a track car - independent all around suspension, traction control, drive by wire, gearing and torque for even power distribution on the whole curve.

On the streets I drive normal-shift at 2k-mobil 1 every 2k-baby my car.
There is no "magic" needed to get in our Top-25. What is needed is practice and dedication to the sport. I do not believe that our younger members are willing to put forth the effort.

Well said. 100% agree with you. I'd love to learn more about autocross. Maybe next year I'll try it. I love cars & driving them! Its that simple.
1. The Z isn't a "drag" car so I wouldn't expect to see many at the strip.
2. The Z IS a track car. I see lots of them at tracks all over. I see lots of them at autocrosses and drifting events.
10-15 seconds at the drag strip isn't enough excitement for most people. Not when compared to the couple hours of seat time you get on a road course.

Ha ha. I have tried autocross several times. It is an eye opener. 30 MPH and I am making 10 decisions per second. My hat goes off to any autocross driver who does it well.
