I am going to buy a home, so my Z(performance) has to go. How much should I sell it? There are few scratches on the driver side of the front and rear bumpers(still cannot when, and how it got them). It has only 7100 Miles, tinted windows, Nissan extended 6 years warranty, some sort of anti theft device from dealer(have to start the car within 45 sec after unlock the car with keyfob), Clario DZX935 CD player, Clarion SRK5 center speaker, and Infinity Basslink.

2nd quesion. What is the car I can buy with 5K or less?

not really, my friend recently got a honda accord 4 door for 7 or 8k. not quite 5k but close, and I think his is like a 97 or so, not too bad. you can easily get a 97civic ex or the like for 5k, it should hold up just fine.

 

Thanks for the advice. I thin I will go with the Honda Cive DX hatch back, and hopefully I will not turn into a Honda rice boy.

 

For older cars you are probably best served by buying a Japanese product. Honda, Toyota, Acura, etc all have good reliability histories. We have a 90 Acura Lengend around here with 230,000 miles on it that runs like a top.

Whatever you end up with have a mechanic look it over first.

 

Definitely part out the stereo separate from the car.. You should get more that way.

 

Look in your local paper, see what others are selling. Don't go by kbb with Z, afterall kbb get their used car prices by looking at what most people are selling a particular car for.
