Question 230,000 miles 350z

What do you guys think ?? too much miles to buy it ?? I would lift in a new engine I'm building, but I have never heard of a 350z with that much miles.

Thanks

Dang thats nearly 33000 miles a year consistently, if its an 03, which is close to 3x the average for a California driver, and we drive everywhere!

Sissies. Avg new yorker drives in the 20-25k area!

OP just check the car to see what your getting into. Suspension and if its been in accidents. If your putting in a new motor anyway go for it.

It would have to be really, really cheap to even consider such a high mileage car. Besides looking at a new engine, the suspension has got to be worn pretty badly. You could be looking at replacing a LOT of parts.

All comes down to price. There are definitely going to be some other parts that need replacing, immediately or soon I would think.

I wish it was KM but no miles, long commute to LA from Bay Area every week so I guess that adds up :| Is it worth $7000 ?? I can replace parts from the car I'm building now, that one have only 50,000 miles on the parts

$7,000 is a bit steep considering 230k miles...

I wish I could get it for that kind of money, but I don't think he would sell it that low

7k is too steep. 5k would be reasonable in my opinion... but I really have no idea. I have an 03 that I brought home in Dec of '02 which has been a daily driver the whole time... and it has a 120k.

4 to 5K I would do it. Like others have said, get ready to replace a lot of suspension parts (bushings, struts, etc.....)
