Need help for order placed with GTM
Spoken like a true US consumer. You look at any vendor on this forum and you will see that there have been issues and complaints that you described above for each of them. As the saying goes, you will not please everyone all of the time, and speaking from experience from having been associated with a vendor on this site and on the G35 site previously, no matter what you do to please a customer, some of them will never be pleased, no matter what you do to try and right the wrong. Mistakes are going to happen, not only on the vendors side but also the customers. Assumptions will be made on both sides. The only way to move on, is to admit the mistake and compromise on both sides, or at least that would be the adult way of doing business.

So what's the guy to do?
Personally, with member feedbacks like this I would spend my money elsewhere. There are other tuners out there, with less 'drama'.
Btw, the 'adult way of doing business' would be calling people back and shipping parts in a timely manner. Keeping communication open. Due to the massive number of complaints from this vendor, it leads me to believe that the OP ain't lying when he says he can't get a respond.

If you reread what i wrote you will notice i stated "the adult way of doing business" was for both the vendor and customer. That's what happens when you concentrate on one side and not try to look at both, you only see a part of what is being said.
The OP has every right to get what he paid for, however if he is going to air out his dirty laundry on a public forum about a vendor at least give the full and complete details. Times, dates and who he spoke with. Im sure he dealt with Sam quit a bit but im sure he is not the only person he dealt with there. Its just that Sam is the most visible person on this forum with GTM.
I hope the OP gets what he paid for and im sure in time he will. BTW, have you ever had an experience ordering anything from overseas? Ive worked overseas for the last 6 years on a government project and know that it takes quit a while to get anything from point A to point B shipping internationally. Just saying...
In many ways you're right. And you're also right that i was more focused on Sam/GTM in this post. However, please understand that whenever I see a complaint about GTM...I can almost immediately tell what the complaint is about even before I finish reading the post.
It's always to the tune of:
slow/unshipped items
not getting emails/calls responded
Getting 'i'll call you back soon' but never do...
It's always the same similar complaints.
And yes I've ordered many items from oversees. Most of the item the delay is due to customs. Three weeks to a month is normal. But now 3-4 months????

For some reason the lack of communication, open promises to return calls/emails, not receiving orders in a timely manner...all this seems to be pattern with GTM.
Do on search on the forums. This buyer is not the first to experience issues. Duh!
Give it some time. Then get a lawyer involved. Things will move faster then.

I have been screwed by vendors that disappeared. I was almost in a lawsuit with Mastergrade right before they went under. I was one of the last people to actually receive my stuff before they just disappeared.
Give GTM some time and they will make sure the OP gets his stuff. A lawsuit or lawyer wont make parts from japan ship any faster.
Its not brown nosing my friend. I actually waited a month longer than what was quoted to me for my build at GTM. What i realized is that there are custom parts going into these modifications we request and s**t can and will go wrong. Yes GTM should try their level best to commit but if Sam has responded and OP keeps calling back, it sounds like he has more free time than he should. I honestly take my car to GTM when i dont need the car because i know they are busy people, personally 11k is a lot of money, the wait sucks ***** but the quality makes up for it. They arent out to take your 11k, their name in the industry is worth much more. Im not trying to bash anyone. Op asked for Sam to find a solution, guess what ball is in his court, sucks but its the truth.
