I'll be honest i was 20 when i got mine and bought it for around 50 bucks in supplies and a local black man to help me hotwire it...

 

I know two people who bought nice cars before they hit twenty: a 328i and a g35. Both worked like dogs to afford them and more than likely missed out on some good times that could've been spent outside of working to make car/insurance payment. I drove my parents car when they upgraded and the first car I bought was a 91 Pontiac Grand Am that I utterly beat the crap out of. Great times!

 

Im 20 and i just recently bought an 07. Took a little work to get the banks to approve without credit history. But thanks to the dealership they made it work by going down a lot on the price and giving me more for my G35 Sedan trade-in. Bought my 240sx when i was 16 and still have that. Had a few crappy cars in between there but ended up with what i wanted. Thank you military for my income and benefits.
