DITTO on the soapbox nonsense. Spamming every thread and constantly getting on the soapbox is as lame as it gets. I seriously doubt that Zand02Max has never exceeded the speed limit if he owns a Z.

Once again I should reiterate that I do not condone street racing nor do I like it.

Nuff said.

I'm with the soapbox comment, and based on the original post, I was under the assumption that getting airborne wasn't a huge surprise to the driver?

If you're going 120 on a back road, and you know nobody else is around, I'm sure he also knew that the section of road that sent him flying existed, and he probably knew he was going to get air off of it. I think the reason for this post was just to point out that it happened, not to draw a bunch of fire because he was driving irresponsibly. He didn't lose control. Just let people tell their stories...

I hope when he gets in an accident that he doesn't hurt any innocent people.

This post describes almost exactly the same thing that happened to me this weekend. I know some roads that are mostly twisty and one lane (each way). One section goes straight moving slightly up and down but that particular section is like the majority of the road - smooth without bumps. When I took one of my close friends out there Thursday it was quite windy and sunny, but did not affect the Z below 100 mph and on the turns. We took a straight that ran for about 1/2 mile before reaching railroad tracks. There was no one going the other way and the next car in front of me was well within braking distance without me having to stomp on the brakes. As we got the car up to approx. 120mph it seemed as though the car almost skidded an inch to the left twice within 2-3 second intervals. I slowly let go of the gas and began to apply brakes when this happened. That really scared both of us and I decided it just was not worth it.

Sometimes, when no one else is around and you know the road and your car, you gotta have some fun!!!
