I just saw my 04 SS Enthusiast that I ordered. It does have the kneepads and center console cover. I didn't get to open the doors to see if my handles are metal or not, but I would assume they are. Just wanted to give an FYI, it seemed like some thought that the kneepads would only be on the Track versions. Anyway, I pick it up tomorrow and I can't wait.

 

Have fun with your new ride! My Z doesn't have the knee pads, but I tried leaning my knee into the center console and believe it or not it wouldn't touch. I actually had to force my knees into the console to make it touch and keep it there. But I think the slightly cushioned door cover on the center console would look nice in my Z

btw, the 03' Z's all had metal door handles...this metal door handle thing is some sort of urban legend someone made up.

 

skinny guy with skinny legs like me will never touch those knee pads lol.

Please post pics of the elbow padding.....I have yet to see a photo of it. I'm not convinced the knee pads are necessary for me. Let us know if they get used.
