That dumbass horizontal portion of the rear fenders that causes rubbing. WTF Nissan?

 

Quite a few manufactures do or did that! Not only Nissan...

Also how long the vertical part of the front fenders are ,rub on tight elevation changing turns...

 

This is just a FYI for any of you whose tires are rubbing on the fender lip . . . .

If you haven't rolled your fenders already, you should seriously consider doing it. Mine rubbed a little, and it eventually caused a blowout at significant speed.

 

Gotta go with the rear wiper, I've used it twice...maybe, and by mistake no less.

since we reviving this, im 100% sure the most useless thing on the 350z is the rear whiper, some of you are not stating whats the most useless, you are just arguing what you do not like.

Start thinking about anything in your Z that if it didnt exist it wouldnt even matter, you will be suprised that the list you come up with will be nothing compared to a domestic car.

That's very true. I know personally, i never go on road trips so cruise control is useless. I live in Vegas so it rains about 10 days a year, i also hate windshield wipers in general and the only reason I use the front ones is to see the road. Ill never use the rear wipers. I'd never walk up to a car and put a key in the door. I hate opening the house door enough as it is. I have no use for anything eating/drinking or smoking related in the car. Once in a while I'll have a bottle to drink. The amazing (lol) Bose stereo was a waste of money, that's the first thing I took out. I need an AUX plug, not a ****ing cassete player.

I could keep going on.. Basically I'm a simple person. Give the steering wheel, gas/clutch/brake, shifter, 2 seats and a stereo and I'm good. **** I don't even use the blinkers (too lazy). But the Z is also a pretty straight forward car. Obviously there's more flashy cars with really nice luxury interiors..but I bought the Z because I don't care about that. I like the sport of it, the performance. I'm also young. If I was 35 with kids I would've got the g35. But i love having no back seats. No one can bother me for a ride. My car is 5 tenths of a second faster than the G. And that car has even more extras that I'd never use.

So yeah, every car has useless ****. But I honestly think the Z stays pretty true to the basics..Going fast lol.

 

The clock not showing on the stock bose stereo if you have a CD in...

I use the rear windshield wiper. But only use it once at a time. If that makes any sense at all.

The door handles look and are stupid. But my vote is for the volt meter. Theres a hundred things that Id rather know than how my battery is operating.

most useless? rear differential bushing.
its worthless and breaks on every single car.
At least the other parts did something and didnt just fade away into broken obscurity right after teh warranty died.

Also, worthless? the clutch pedal system.
Worthless? anything under a cd009 trans.
but if were tlaking FULLY totally worthless?

headlight spray.

when does anyone really need to use their headlight sprayers?

Only time i made good use of it was the time when i lost its nozzle so it would just spray water forward, out in the air just for giggles with friends.

Only rub if you're running bigger than stock shoes and socks or lowered like crazy. Nissan designed it to fit stock specs. Don't get me wrong all for modding. Well most of it.

Funny how that works. Over here when it rains it rains a lot, so wouldn't be without that valuable rear wiper. Even Rainex, can do only so much.
