I hate how the windows open a little bit right before i shut my door. I never heard of glass breaking by closing a door in my life. Plus it puts extra strain on the window motor.

It creates a better seal after clearing the metal around the window. And it only lowers when you OPEN the door, and stays lowered until you close it..

Pretty sure this is so the window doesn't smack the pillar when you open/close it. At least on my z, if I had the battery out, the window wanted to hit the pillar that runs above it I I remember correctly.

If you bump the window switch just right, you can get the window to stay down just enough so it won't move when you open and close the door, but it's high enough that it doesn't leak or make noise. I rarely drive with the window down, so I just leave it like that for weeks at a time.

It take a little practice to get the bump just right, though.

For me:

(1) The "business card holder" tray in the dash in front of the passenger seat.
(2) In a Roadster - the glowing plastic emergency release handle in the trunk. There is no damn way a human could fit in there unless they are already hacked into many pieces. They had to put it there because, well, people would sue.

the damn glove compartment is behind the passenger seat!
i do find the rear wipers useful in the morning to get rid of the morning fog, but going to delete the rear wipers anyways.
the stupid cup holder on the door.

I use the outlet in the back for charging my phone. In my other car, the chord always gets in the way while I'm shifting (Don't text or anything while driving, but do change songs on pandora). I can't seem to find a good use for the cubbyhole, nothing useful fits in the damn thing. I have a backup pair of sun glasses in it now.

Will be doing wiper delete, just looks tacky on this car...or any sports car imo.

06 Touring.

1. The turn signal clicker is wayyy too low.
2. No front 12v port. I use my phone as a nav on a mount and cable doesnt reach.
3. Tail lights are long but have no bulb at the top.
4. No inside trunk release besides key fob and under strut bar.
5. The Bose system. Its terrible. I think its Nissan equipment and they paid for the Bose logo.
6. The gears are way too close together. Sometimes im scared of mis shifting.
7. Oil dip stick is annoying to use.
8. Door handles. They stick out wayy too much and are ugly.
9. Sunglasses holder is only good for old man sunglasses.
10. I sometimes turn off my head lights when using turn signal.

I actually like the rear wiper. I use it when my rear window is dirty to give it a quick clean. Also when it rained the night before, Id rather use that to wipe the windows than a rag.

DC - "9. Sunglasses holder is only good for old man sunglasses."

you mean like this guy's sporting below hahaha, naw but small frame sunglasses sort of like neo/morphius wore in the matrix movies fit great in that spot for
a backup pair.

03 Touring

1. location of the car lighter plug
2. sometimes my lights turn off when i'm using the turn signal cuz it's too loose
3. seat warmer switch location (I'm always wondering why it's hot in my car only to realize I hit the switch with my elbow lol)
4. Glove compartments behind the passenger seat
5. no trunk release except where the license plate is
6. I think just nissan in general but if you're trying to change the headlight bulbs you gotta go thru the wheel well/take off the bumper

And he completely went into "what don't you like about your car" instead of pointing out useless items on the car. Lol

I'm going to go with that little indentation midway along the center console just to the front and right of the e brake. Can't put change in it or itll slide out around every turn. Idk what they expect anybody to use it for

About the hatch release only being on the remote -

On my Z there is a button above the licence plate to open the hatch from the outside of the car. It is a rubber soft button. is this a change on the newer 07+ models

Also I can not even find a cup holder on the pass side- only in the pass door.
