i don't know what your financial situation is but if you can purchase your next car without selling your z as a down payment or something then keep it. having two vehicles with different purpose will always come in handy,it depends on what the situation is. use truck to haul your junks(if you own a house having a truck is a must) and drive your z on sunny days.my 05 is paid off and i'm keeping mine. i also have a 06 cayenne S which i use to take my family out in,but its not the same. its something about the z that i always look forward to driving it even after 6 years(i don't know if any of z owners out there feel the same way as i do). its a fun little car to play with and makes my daily driving less tedious so if i were you i just keep that car btw your silver z looks very nice.

Well, I'm gonna pick up my 4Runner this Saturday and move the Z out of the garage. Still up in the air on what to do with it. Financially, it's not impossible to have both. But it'll be more "comfortable" to sell it. Really appreciate everyone's input and this forum has given me so much and hate to lose our common bond. Will post pics of new truck along with my Z (well as soon as it stops raining here).

He's made the first step in keeping it! I say if it's not too hard on the bank to keep it, keep it. It'll give you a car to do what you please with and a car that will keep you entertained in driving. That's why I love daily driving my Z, it makes the day more special. When it's a weekend car I bet it'll probably be 20x more special.

I recently went through a similar situation, except in my case I traded in my 1999 Dodge Avenger, which had only 28,000 miles on it, for my "new" 2006 Grand Touring 350Z. My Avenger was in pristine condition without a single parking lot ding, etc., but the Blue Book value for trade in was only $3400! It took me a long time to get my head around accepting so little for it since in my mind it was still a new car with so few miles. I could have kept the Avenger, as money wasn't an issue, but like you I only have a two car garage and didn't want to start parking it outside or put up a carport for it. Also, I knew I wouldn't be driving it once I got my next car (I only put 1500 miles a year on it the past three years due to having bought a motorcycle).

I started looking at cars and when I ran across my new 350Z it made my decision a lot easier. Plus, I was able to negotiate a good deal with the dealership on my trade, so I was pleased how things played out. Sometimes it's just better to let go and move on. After all, Life has a lot more surprises and gifts (and probably a few heartaches) ahead for you, so why not make room for them?

Just get a car cover! I wouldn't let space be an issue for a toy you've already paid for! :P

Please keep it, your the orignal owner, if you get a new baby would you just send away your older child to an adoption place to make room for the new born? lol that's the way I would look at it.
