Not a bad deal for a '03 Track with 9800 miles on it ($26000 for those who haven't looked). Looks like it's in fairly good condition too.

One bad Review in his profile. 98% rating. Approach with caution but if you're in the same area it's worth looking into.

It sounds like a great deal, and should be easy to verify, ask him for a letter from the leasing company showing the payoff and you can call to verify.

You or your lender can deal directly with his title holder. Giving someone $26000 when you don't have to is probably a bad idea.

He said brand new tires courtesy of nissan. He must've had tire feathering.

WHOA!!!

VIN number indicates that it is #773. That is a really low number. As we all know, the lower the VIN the greater the CHANCE that you will have issues. This does not mean you will, but you are more likely. Those with lower VIN numbers have had tranny issues and all sorts of other problems.

Of course it is still under warranty, so any issues would get fixed for free. However, be prepared to be without your car if it does need to be fixed. This sorta raises the hassle factor.

Just my $0.02. I am happy with my VIN being in the 16,000.

think about it. the wheels and the rotors and all are photoshopped in, meaning it's probably a lesser model. scroll all the way down and look at the pics and tell me what YOU think...

Gotta mention what was mentioned earlier. Check the Vin #, it was one of the first Z's made and it also says that it has new tires courtesy of Nissan, which can only mean he has had the tire feathering at least one time. Why else would he be getting rid of the car?? He has probably had numerous issues with tire feathering, tranny and other misc. problems which is why he is dumping the car after only 9 months. I would pass on this car and wait for another one.

I don't think it is photoshop, look at the pics, I put one here.

As for the low VIN, I have 573 and did have the feathering, fixed and hasn't come back even with Eibachs, had tranny gring but it was replaced. I wouldn't let the low VIN keep you away as the issues can all be taken care of under warranty.

But if you don't have the money then what is the point anyway.
