Like the title says... I got rear ended today. We were both at the stop light, the light turned green, and the guy bumped me. At first I thought I just let go of the clutch but I didnt even let go of the brake.

By the looks of it, there doesnt look like there's much damage. Maybe a slight 1-2 inch line where you can kind of tell its not flushed by looking at the reflection of light. Anyways... I got the person's info but is it worth it to report? Will my insurance go up or something?

I'll take some pictures today with the sun out. By the way, this happened like 1am in the morning.I just realized he didnt give me his insurance. I believe it was his girlfriends car. I do have both the registration and his license though.

 

This is where you messed up bro. ALWAYS call the cops and get a report on scene. Been burned a few times by people that "promise to pay" for damages. Your insurance shouldn't go up if it's his fault. Hope it all works out for you.

 

cops dont always come. you should have gotten his insurance though. i got rear ended 2 weeks ago as well but got hit harder than you.

since the damage to your car is probably minimal and only towards your bumper, you can make extra cash and get aftermarket stuff.

if your back starts hurting dont be afraid to go to the chiropractor.

 

Yea, i checked it out today and the bumper is misaligned on the right side.insurance said their gonna do some investigating. Hopefully everything will be fine. I got usaa so i think i should be good.

Wow that blows! What exhaust did you replace it with?

 

the body shop gave me another stock one and it didnt even sound like a 350z..the sound that i was getting was like..a restricted raspy z.. probably because it hasn't been broken into yet. But it kinda annoy me so i replace the muffler with a g35 polish muffler and a HR Y pipe.
