Unhappy Found a Z for sale

Well, I found an 03 Enthusiast at my local dealership today. It has all of the options I want; kickplates, storage convenience, etc. It is brand new with like thirty miles or so. Only problem is it's $29,388. My budget is a wee bit lower than that. In the 25-27 range. How low do you think the dealership would go considering its been sitting on the lot for awhile and some of the problems the 03s are having?

You could get an 04 Enthusiast with kickplates, storage convenience for $28,928 at CarsDirect. I'd start with an offer of $25,000 for the 03 and buy it for $26,000. If they don't want to sell it to you go to another dealer and buy an 04.

2004 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast 2dr Coupe
CarsDirect Price: $28,928
MSRP Price: $28,980
Invoice Price : $26,828

Go to Nissan.com and build your vehicle. Search Zip Codes within what you consider a resonable driving, flying or deliver distance until you find what you want, and then negotiate. YOU will be shocked at the $$$ savings. They might even pay for your airline ticket...mine did.

That's a big negatory good buddy. Nissan.com is just current model year. Besides, you'd probably want an '04 if you can get it for your price because of some improvements: more power outlets, better suspension, few things like that.

thefrush: That's why I said get an 04. If they won't deal on the 03 with all the possible problems go to another dealer and make a deal on the 04. Like Ron said find a dealer who wants to make a deal, they are out there.

Well it's not new but if you look in the For Sale section you'll see my Z that I'm basically trying to give away. It's an O3 Enthusiast with a lot of goodies to go with it. Take a look...I'll work with you on the price!!!!

Man, I love everything about your car jrreed. Except one frickin thing. I gotta have a manual, it's in my blood. Man, that stinks, I love everything, the wheels, tint, stereo, etc. I actually considered your car when I first saw it on the FS section. But like I said, I gotta have a manual. Thanks anyway man.

BTW, I was considering getting a Supra and was a member on supraforums where everyone seemed to be a jerk. Flame wars galore. People are a lot nicer here. P.S. Don't ask me why I changed my mind on the Supra please, long story.

If that's including dest. charge but excluding tax and title, that's a lousy deal for an 03. I got an 04 enthusiast automatic which is almost $900 invoice more than the manual for $28496 including dest. charge excluding tax and title. It came w/kick plates, cargo convenience pkg., floor mats, splash guards and trunk mat.

Funny you should say that, I just got the same deal you did in a different part of VA. :-) Hopefully mine won't have too many probs...I keep hearing horror stories, but hopefully they are the minority.

Happy motoring.
