Timeframe
When do you think all the pre-orders will have been delivered and dealers start getting in regular allotments?
My dealer called tonight and said that he just delivered his first Z yesterday, and he was excited becuase it came earlier than expected. I of course have learned that many cars are coming in earlier than first thought from the great info in this forum. But I don't have any grand illusions that tons of Z's will be rolling in to lots any time soon.
Off topic - my sales guy is kinda hyper anyway, but how many times can a guy in his late 40's say "dude" in one sentence???

Tom Peacock received their 3rd shipment today with 7 Z's! I was told I was #6 of their first allocation when I ordered mine back on Jan 24th but I'm still freakin waiting. They've receive a total of 10 Z's now and mine still hasn't shown up. I was told my car is scheduled for Oct 2nd. Now I see it was pointless ordering early. From what I've seen...the later you order..the sooner you'll get your car.

Mossy nissan in san diego is scheduled to ship 12 pre-configured Z's in november. HOWEVER, they have been spoken for. I am pretty sure that even though people are not pre-ordering, they will be reserving well in advance.

I too ordered from Tom Peacock and I have a question for you. Were you charged an extra $380 Nissan warranty fee on top of the $580 destination fee. I was and no other dealership has mentioned it to me, and I was wondering if it was bogus or a true fee. They also quoted me a 3 month wait (December or January) and I was wondering if they stood behind their delivery dates. Any info on them would be helpful.
