That was a post where I still had some kind of patience left with the guy. Disregard.

Well if he is communicating with you and keeping you updated then you should be alright.

On the other hand if you are having a hard time getting a reply from simple emails then I would request a refund.

I ordered a blitz spoiler for Jay/Evo-R 7/11/11, made sure he had in stock first. I got tracking the following day and I received it today (was actually was delivered yesterday but I wasn't home). Quality on the spoiler looks great and shipped/arrived way quicker then I thought it would . I knew fully well before ordering some people have had communications issues with Evo-R, then again to my knowledge Jay has never taken someones money and ran. Just got to be patient I would say if its taking longer. I am happy with my experience with Jay/Evo-R and would buy from again.

I sent an email to Adam with Z1 Performance (OP listed as Z1auto.com) inquiring about a specific part yesterday afternoon and received an immediate reply. I ordered the part this morning and inside of 3 hours I received an email stating that it was shipped and with it the corresponding tracking information. Now that's AWESOME SERVICE!

Mr. Nibiru,

I check my EVO-R email every day. I usually reply within 24hrs. I looked back on your order and searched your email. I found only 3 email from you and your paypal account. First email is from Paypal about your order, second was about your dispute and third is about full refund given a day after you file a complaint. My jay@evo-r.net is also foward to my Gmail to my iphone. So that I can reply email back event I'm out. Below is what my Gmail searched result on "Gregory Coleman"

We do have voice mail service on our number. I just called and test again. You can leave voice mail. Mr. Nibiru if I did get your emai, voice mail or PM I would have reply right back to you and tell you we are out of stock on the dash kit. We'll give full refund right away if you decided to cancel the order. As you can see from Paypal you file disput on Paypal 2 min later you got your full refund. If that is not fast reponds I don't know what is.

"I have not recieved my order as of 08July2011. I have emailed multiple times for a status and also a tracking number. I have also emailed and asked that the order be cancelled with no reply. I have also called the phone number available on the website multiple times. There is no voice message option available and no one ever picks up. I would like a full refund from this company.

From what i hear hes just one guy trying to fill out these orders. I'm sure hes a vendor on other forum as well. Though i am in no way shape or form defending his delayed responses or resolution. I just know how difficult it is to get parts from overseas and promise prompt shipping, my ex's dad had a factory in Taiwan making aftermarket parts.

Default Truth

Here's the deal. If I was the only one complaining then yes, maybe I would be in the wrong. But it is funny that some other members have had the same experience as I had. You can dispute one person, but when mutiple people say the same thing it is kind of hard to say they are all lying while one guy is telling the truth.

Well I hope the "frustration" of dealing with me will make you look at your customer service and find ways to improve it. Everytime someone gripes it gives you a chance to make your company better.

But chances are some other customer will be saying the same thing in the future because your attitude says you don't think you were wrong in the slightest.

Simple facts. I ordered something on 21June11 and I still didn't have it on 08July11 and I didn't know why as I was not contacted by the company to explain the delay.

I just know I will be spending my good hard earned money with other people who can get the job done.

This only happened when paypal got involved, not when I asked the status, nor when I asked the order be cancelled. I asked you to cancel my order on the 1st of July. I invovled paypal on the 8th.

Doesn't matter if it was the majority of beliefs, it does not make a certain matter justifiably right.

This is the core of it right here. Any vendor who tries to justify or make excuses as to why there was a delay is ignoring the issue. The bottom line is either you get your product on time, or there was a prompt refund. Anything else is just codswallop. Excuses like "there is just one guy handling hundreds of orders" or "I was on vacation", etc. are admissions that it is a poorly run business.

The thing that shocks me is that anyone in this day and age allows themselves to pay for the product before it ships. This is not how good online businesses are run. The vendor should obtain approval for the credit card charge from the card company, put a hold on that amount, and then bill the same day it ships. Vendors do not have a right to collect money and then order from their suppliers.

Further, don't use Paypal. Paypal is not a credit manager, nor it is a bank. Paypal has a bad history, and the fundamental problem is that paypal puts the burden of carrying the payment on the consumer - they end up paying for something that they may never get. At least Visa, AMEX and other card companies will fight for you and enter dispute resolution if you get ripped off. Paypal has some degree of push, but they have a terrible reputation for this.

If a vendor insists on paypal, buy elsewhere.

Codswallop:
http://tinyurl.com/5rrrghz

Some more information for people to read up on - note that the shipper has a legal duty to notify the customer if the ship date is being missed.
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/cons...dit/cre28.shtm

The Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA) and the Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule offer protections and procedures for consumers so they don't have to pay for merchandise they ordered but never received.

In addition, many credit card issuers have policies against merchants charging a credit card account before shipment. If you think a merchant charged your account prematurely, report it to the credit card issuer. Otherwise, the credit card issuer has no way to know that the merchant is not complying with its policies.
The Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule

This rule covers merchandise you order by mail, telephone, computer and fax. It requires merchants to have a reasonable basis for claiming they can ship an order within a certain time.

Ship Dates
By law, a merchant should ship your order within the time stated in its ads or over the phone. If the merchant doesn't promise a time, you can expect it to ship your order within 30 days.
The shipment "clock" begins when the merchant receives a "properly completed order." That includes your name, address and payment (check, money order or authorization to charge an existing credit account - whether the account is debited at that time or not).
If the merchant doesn't promise a shipping time and you are applying for credit to pay for your purchase, the merchant has an additional 20 days (50 days total) to establish the account and ship the merchandise.
Delays
If the merchant is unable to ship within the promised time, it must notify you by mail, telephone, or email, give a revised shipping date and give you the chance to cancel for a full refund or accept the new shipping date. The merchant also must give you some way to exercise the cancellation option for free, for example, by supplying a prepaid reply card or staffing a toll-free telephone number

Here's a funny coincidence. I also ordered the 4.083 final drive from www.z1auto.com and I have yet to recieve it.. For some strange reason I am being patient with this company. I wonder what the difference is between Z-1 Performance and EVO R. Well here it is.

They always promptly answer my emails and phone calls. They also update me with me asking. Just for example I recieved this email today.

"Our gear shipment arrived and I've got your install parts. However 2 of the ring and pinions we got are mismatched with the wrong tooth pinion gear. This is something we've experienced before from Nissan and it's why we open everyone before we ship. The ring and pinions are stamped with the ratio and both have to match. In 2 cases they don't so we have to send them back this morning. The "good" news is there are more to shipped to us but I won't see them till Tuesday next week. Unfortunately they cant be shipped direct to you it has to ship to us first. I wanted to see if you wanted to wait for this new batch. Let us know and I apologize for the inconvenience."
