Here's a funny coincidence. I also ordered the 4.083 final drive from www.z1auto.com and I have yet to recieve it.. For some strange reason I am being patient with this company. I wonder what the difference is between Z-1 Performance and EVO R. Well here it is.
They always promptly answer my emails and phone calls. They also update me with me asking. Just for example I recieved this email today.
"Our gear shipment arrived and I've got your install parts. However 2 of the ring and pinions we got are mismatched with the wrong tooth pinion gear. This is something we've experienced before from Nissan and it's why we open everyone before we ship. The ring and pinions are stamped with the ratio and both have to match. In 2 cases they don't so we have to send them back this morning. The "good" news is there are more to shipped to us but I won't see them till Tuesday next week. Unfortunately they cant be shipped direct to you it has to ship to us first. I wanted to see if you wanted to wait for this new batch. Let us know and I apologize for the inconvenience."

I just received my tracking info from him on a Mine's lip I had ordered about 6 weeks ago. He did let me know the very first day that he was out of stock. Unfortunately the original estimate on an ETA was off, but Jay did follow up every time that I inquired on the status.
My only complaint is that he should have been more proactive in getting a specific date for restock.
Would I do business again? Yes. But I would check further into his stock status and make sure to get a set date for delivery in advance.

BTW, i had PMd Jay (EVO R) for you OP the day i was posting.
... he replied to my PM saying he would look into your order and thread...and got into the thread within a day or so.. and we see the rest is history.
I do say that some folks answer the phone better than others, but IMO this should fully reinstate faith in Jay w any newcomers who stumble on to this thread.
If youre gna buy something from a vendor here, add them to your friends list and make connections.

I asked very politely multiple times, and then slowly gravitated towards force.
