I sent them a nasty post that, among other things, points out that a $32K WRX STi will run circles around their precious $55K M3s. LMAO

 

Why do car owners always bash each other??? The m3 is a GREAT car and the Z is a GREAT car. There is no reason to bash on anyone.

 

I've had my 350Z up to 125mph and it felt like I was sitting in a lounge chair enjoying a smoooooth ride! I guess that M3 owners have to justify/rationalize the tens of thousands extra they paid.

I just don't understand at those forums, yeah sure an M3 can beat a Z...so what? I would understand their comments but they just don't research the other cars at all! You get:"well my buddy test drove one" or "I saw one parked at the Kwick-E Mart the other day".

And they use these excellent experiences to make their "unbiased" judgements?

AND they always state that the Z's 0-60 is 6s....and the M3 is around 4.5s even if that were true (ha). Its still a drivers race (if manual) its not like all M3 drivers are racing gods....sounds like they are more of jealous angry people that are sad that they wasted too much money on their precious M3.

True story: Back when I had my 94' Civic 2Dr (ok, it was modded, rims, lip spoiler, very tasteful - not ricey!) I used to get a fair amount of girls attention, usually resulting in (at the least) a phone number and a good time. So when I sold my civic and bought my current car, 01' Infiniti I30, I thought the girls would be falling all over the car. They Didnt.

Moral of the story??

(Most) Girls dont know SHITT about cars. Which might explain why they like the BMW's better. And not only the M's. Most girls are more attracted to basic 3-series Bimms with no ***** to speak of, instead of even admitting they have heard of the nissan based company "Infiniti".

The M3 looks like any other 3series. Except for the dual twin exhaust pipes and wider stance. Its not a sports car but a 2door coupe with 4seats. Practical indeed with a killer engine. But they shouldve made it more different then the typical 3series.

Stock 350z can still beat E46 M3 on the track and it looks way better. M3 is just a fixed up 3 series, nothing special about it.

M3? I was revved on by a 5 series today, not an M5 which is one of the fastest cars out there, but just a normal 5. What is up with these BMW owners hating on the Z???

 

my cousin has a M3 and when i pulled up in my track, he was drooling. He put a short shifter in his, and he said my stock was waayy shorter than his and he said he liked the Zs interior more because of the sportier feel. Now we both know that he can simply out drive me, seing as how he has 7 yrs of experience on a manual, but anyway... We all cant start doing the same and hating on ///M guys now. Its amazing how all of the sudden, you get so much attention. I sat and talked with a guy with a new SRT and he was cool. So lets practice what we preach.
