I'd be more than happy to see you in person to tell you how wrong you are, you're a local too, and trust me I kno shops go through issues and everything, but over 4 months with the same excuse seemed kinda shady, you gotta understand that, and these posts get results IMO and the word out about some shops, in this case, I was mistaken, spoke with Z1 over PM's, and they explained everything to me, just got a little uneasy when I got no answer, regardless I feel that we spend so much money on parts with these shops, they should respond to emails and calls accordingly, the thing about SOME, not Z1 at all cuz I understand they're moving, but SOME other big companies, is that once they get big, they don't care about 1-2 customers, just about the majority idiots like you that don't give a crap if they are contacted or not, I'm sorry but to me $200 is $200 and I work customer service so I understand how frustrating it is to deal with customers, yet we have to remember that they're the ones allowing us to keep our jobs...

ANYWAYS.....

I resolved the issue with Z1 and got an answer, VERY PROMPTLY I must admit, first time dealing with them and once this deal goes through will deal with again, thanks Z1 for your help.

^thats great ur issue got resolved but there really is nothing to celebrate. since when do customers have to get on a forum, make a thread, and communicate through PMs to get results?. it shouldnt even have to resort to that lol.

main points of my comments werent aimed at the OP.. you stated a decent case, and youre the one who spend the dough.. AND sounds like you got resolution. Always cool.

when these threads pop up, its like blood in the water tho.. and theres two kinds of sharks.. really kinda pointless bash posts, and then theres my kind. Thats all.. both kinds will pop up each time. Im just the Ying to the Yang, my man. haha.

Ive been in customer service for ever as well.. the point i try to hone in is that its a garage industry, do i like it? of course not.
But do i deal w it? for sure. Theres still a huge benefit in doing so.

Sometimes everyones Cust service sucks.. after all, it aint verizon. Ppl just get that confused alot.. i try to add my dose of reality to it.

The reason why everyone is writing off your argument for the shops is because of your affiliation with intense power. You have been nuthugging them ever since your car went to their shop.

Its not that your argument isnt valid or that you are not credible its just that you come off as one of the biggest nuthuggers for intense since RudeG (which also has a build there..ever done?)

Instead of defending them so much you should stay on them to finish the powerlab stage 2 before it becomes synonymous with the Turbonetics stage 1.5 or 2.....or dreamworks SC.

I live litterally less than 5 minutes from Forged Performance, and I've driven to Carrolton to Z1 Motorsports at least 4 times.

Forged does decent work i guess, if you're loaded. I had a buddy swing by and get a rough cost for a TT, supporting mods, install and tune to 550HP, and the rather slender guy responded with "It'll be around $38,000"...... didn't flench.... like $38,000 isn't anything. No reccomendations; no alternatives. He just stood there like he was waiting for my buddy to whip out his bank card.

Then we see what he drives; a black GT-R. They had an R34 there from Chatham County and it was on their lift for at least 6 monthes. I could only imagine HIS bill.

Forged just seem like condescending asses. Everytime I'm there, i feel the salespeople talking to me like i'm in the poverty bracket. One of the mechanics asked what exhaust i had; i looked at him and said "HKS"; to which he started giggling. Pissed me off. Z-1 guys are rather laidback; giving you alternative suggestions/ideas (and never make you feel poor)

Most everyone i know with a Z/G have said Z1 Performance will gladly take payments, then take their time to get your parts to you.

.....I'll just stick with Z1 Motorsports

Horrible...

I kno 2 ppl personally with on going issues with Z1.
Business is business Im sure but guys y not do it in good faith.

Trynalivepro contacted me about his Haltec/Uprev reflash and I put him in touch with Dynosty. Hal was right on it and offered him the same package as he was IIRC the first to offer this package. Instead of making his purchase through Dynosty he went with Z1 stating " Id rather support local vendors" which is a noble thought but not good wen u get screwed. He spoke to Adam and informed him that he needed the ecu back quickly as he had to move the Z from its spot in his (trynalivepro) shop so he can conduct business of his own. He was assured that he would have it back in a few days. Weeks went by and nothing, now I hate to say I told u so which Im always telling him but Dynosty has a T/A of 4 days in my experience. So a month later and story after story and finally the ecu gets to trynalive, but wheres the Haltech?
Again, would of been in his hands in a few short days.

Now mind u trynalive paid in full up front CASH, and didnt want to make waves because they also owed him a previoiusly ordered Weldon fuel reg. Besides he's not the type of guy to raise hell instead he jus calls me and ETZ to complain about the $hitty service he received from Z1.

And he did all of this knowing that Z1 doesnt tune cars n would be sending out the ecu to a 3rd party... So he's at fault for fawking with them in the first place, but I assure u they wouldnt tell him he'd have to wait over a month....

I dont kno them abd dont deal with them, and wont deal with them.

Also have a friend who bought wheels from them, and to protect his yet undelivered purchase which began 8 months ago for a set of wheels Im not gonna name him.
His story was in a way worse due to the promise of delivery of these wheels in 3 months, which about 5 months IIRC into it found out from Adam that the original order was never placed. Now my friend has to settle for a different set of wheels all together because the ones he ordered originally are no longer available. Half the money down no BS with paying on time.. Its bad business, and if someone says that its none of my business Ill ask him to chime in here as well.

Most ppl dont have time to bash vendors, especially if the vendor has their money and they have no product....

As far as shipping from Japan and China, If ur filling containers at a port, that takes a while by the time its filled and floated here. No one wants to pay the fee to ship a half empty container so again the consumer gets beat. This is the inherent problem with ordering overseas. U can order direct and pay a fortune for the parts n shipping but u will get ur $hit, or u can get a discounted price via a vendor and play the waiting game.

As for Intense I had an issue with them back wen I was putting all my parts together and infact they were the only ones who I ran into a snag with...
While this was quickly and I do mean quickly resolved in minutes with 1 phone call I cant say anything bad about them...

This is not a bash Z1 or any other vendor thread, this should and is an informative thread to future customers. Be warned ur gonna get a lot of excuses...$hit happens!
