Default Z1 Performance??

Anyone else having any issues with them? I know they've always been known as a legit shop, however, I ordered a Tommy Kaira Shift **** back in February with the pre-orders, was supposed to be shipped out mid-late April, it is now late August and still nothing, they have been giving me the run-around, first that it was delayed due to the tsunami in Japan, kept contacting them about once every 2-3 weeks, they did offer me a refund but I really wanted to get the shift ****, not a refund, so I patiently waited, kept contacting them to see what was going on. Around early-June, I speak with them and am told that they are being held by customs, kept being told that for the next 2-3 times I called, finally, 2 weeks ago, I reach them again and I am told they were still at customs and they needed to send customs additional paperwork so they would release them...Ok, I ordered about 3-4 things from Japan/China during the past 2 months and got them right away, customs kept em overnight, and yes the correct value was placed on those items. But ok, I guess if its a mass order I understand as the value would be high, so now since last Wednesday, I've been trying to get a hold of em to see if there has been any progress with that and have not gotten an answer, I called 4 times one day and no answer, called every day this week so far, including today. about 10 mins ago, and still nothing, everytime I've left a voicemail, I never get a response and it's getting very frustrating to deal with them, whats more is that after I called in June and was told they were in customs for the first time, I called in July and was told that no they had barely arrived to customs in July, this is becoming a little tedious and was wondering if anyone else is having any issues contacting them or with them. He offered me a refund again in July, however, like I said, I would really rather have the shift ****, I still see it for sale on the site, so idk whats going on. Thanks and lmk if you guys have been in contact with them lately.

haven't come across any complaints about them till now...sad to see more and more vendors seem to be souring up the buying experience.

WOW!When a company cannot reurn your calls thats bad. However,I've found this practice to be common with businesses in the NE...especially NY.
Ordering a special part from Japan can take time.At times the retailer has no control over when your gonna get it.But,they need to let you know.
If it were me,I'd deal with another company the next time. With everything online, there is no real exclusive/one outlet for any product.

if you pm me your name I can look up the info for you

that being said we have had 1 voicemail left today and it was not from you, it was from a local person asking about a turbo timer. There have been no unanswered voicemails at all for the week

Not surprised... TRYNALIVEPRO is going through the same thing with Z1 too! Ordered and paid for a Haltech and also gave him his ecu to have reflashed with the UPREV over a mouth ago! Still no Haltech and finally got the ecu back Monday. I sent my ecu to Hal from Dynosty last month for the UPREV to be installed and had it back in (3) days! "we're moving to a new shop" was one of the excused he gave him. Then don't take money from people till your settled in the new shop.
I've purchased from them before but will not in the future.

im back.

custom part orders from overseas.

tons of ph calls daily and a small shop.. it happens.

shops can hire more ppl to handle our logistics questions if we stop buying on ebay and agree to allow them an addtnl 10 percent margin.. sound good?

i say vendors should send out an affadavit for that haha.

the reason i stick to my guns and make these threads my business is that EVERY shop..and I mean EVERY SHOP has these threads... so either the ENTIRE industry is full of shadiness run rampant.. OR.... its simply, truly and inequivocably THE WAY IT GOES.
\and its always over something like a taillight or a.. um..shift ****.

I swear to god, please let this become a sticky at some point, its not a myth, its fact.
More power to the vendors on here.. you are indeed cool calm and collected men.. i would blow a fuse and go jerry maguire/falling down douglas style w a baseball bat after maybe 3 months dealing w the calls n emails you guys get.

Bash on M1 Auto, Bash on DTM... Bash on SGP.. but these "losers" at Z1 and IMR guys support the fawk out of our sport. Plain n simple.

Ill be at meet n greets all over the west coast once my cars done, feel free to tell me im wrong in person at any time.

well hopefully if they dont shape up then someone other company will always come and replace them and hopefully do a better job at it

these threads are a good thing. wat if people arent made aware of this BS then more people will be stuck in this situation that their not happy in. alot of us arent ballers and have alot of money to spend to have it sit with no results. its threads like these that save me from buying from shops like these
